How much paint do i need to paint a large chair?

Honestly, don't purchase the white at all. I now have 4 bottles of the stuff and they are all defective and unusable. That said, a very small amount will go farther than you think. I also purchased the ebony (please be aware there are sparkles) and did a swatch test with what was on the seal. Depending on your definition of large, you would probably need 1-2. This does not take into account second coats.

will the paint fade away?

I painted a life vest with it (bright orange paint on tan fabric) and have used it on my paddleboard for 3 summers. It has not faded. I have not washed it tho.
