Excellent antenna
Works great on 2m (1.2 SWR) and 70cm (1.1 SWR) and is short enough I don't need to remove from my SUV to pull into my garage. Has taken some hits from low hanging branches and survived intact.

A great performer for the size and price.
This has been a great antenna. I didn't expect much from the length of this antenna but it performs great! SWR is good from the ham bands all the way up into the GMRS frequencies. I will probably always run one of these on my vehicles. I'm impressed with the Tram brand for the price.

Great antenna
Paired with a KG1000G+ and the performance is excellent. Have not tested SWR because I'm able to hear five NOAA frequencies in my driveway now as opposed to two with the big name brand ghost antenna. This is a really good antenna for the money. You may not have ever heard of Tram, so check them out if you're in the market for an antenna.

I'm kind of amazed at how well it works
I get very good SWR in the 2m band (144-148 MHz), pretty good from 440-450, and it even works ok with GMRS, which has bits and pieces around 462 and 467 MHz. On the car I only use it in the middle of the roof so I can't say what happens on a bumper or fender. However, sometimes I put it on other pieces of metal and surprisingly, if it's a good sized object, say 2' x 4' (I have a piece of roof flashing like that) it performs quite similar to the way it does on a car roof. I doubt it has much gain in the UHF band but on the car roof, I seem to get SWR less than 1.5 in both 2m and 70 cm bands, and well under 2 for GMRS.I wish the cable were shorter because it's a mediocre cable, though it does do the job. I also wish the cable were type N instead of "UHF" but "UHF" is what sells in the US and I think Japan, not necessarily elsewhere.

Really Happy with it
Multi-band work is always a compromise but this one really seems to pull it off well. I tested the following frequencies dead center on the roof of my Expedition and got these SWRs:467.700 - 2.00462.700 - 1.01152.800 - 1.14146.550 - 1.01I didn't write down any of the 70cm band freqs, but they start falling off toward the bottom of the band. None were awful though. This is a swell dual bander that will do well both on GMRS/Business and 70cm/2m. Not a ton of gain but it knocks the socks off of everything else I've tried as far as efficiency goes.

Nothing short of amazing
Was having trouble finding an antenna with decent SWR for an old Midland MXT90 GMRS radio I found cheap at a yard sale. This antenna is absolutely spot-on. Im buying a couple more since its good in the ham frequencies too.

Perfect match on 2M
Don’t even need to make any adjustments. Came with the gasket and works just as expected.

My Go To NMO Mount Antenna
This antenna is cheap and it works. Decent SWR and great performance. I have a Diamond 770 that I will occasionally swap for this one, but it's 43 inches tall and I can't fit in my garage with it. That being said, I also only barely notice a performance in TX and RX. Usually if I'm on flat ground and really trying to hit a simplex station out there. But 95% of the time, I'm just using the tram. It's also short enough on my sedan that I actually fit in my garage no problem with it. It's very easy for me to install and forget it's there.
