It's a kind-of-copy of the New Wave collection by Villeroy & Boch. They are nice, the saucer helds well the cup and its grip is comfortable. Any how is cheap: the bottoms are a little bit scratched, there is some bump here and there and the wood holder is loose. If you want it for yourself could be ok but if you want it for a gift you want consider some alternative.

The cups are very small. It's appropriate for your little girls who like to play tea parties with friends. The holder is not made from sturdy wood. It arrived broken and even if it didn't, I'm sure it wouldn't last long just by looking at the quality of wood used. Pretty modern look but not worth the price.I have changed the ratings to 2 stars because of the customer service by the seller. They were very courteous to contact me a couple of times to fix what was wrong and apologized for the product. I guess it's just unfortunate that things may not always be in their control.

The Amazon packaging box was in perfect condition, but when I opened it, the box where the merchandise came from was not in good condition, it was damaged in one corner, the holder for the bamboo cups was split in the center, my husband wanted return it, I told him that I would use the cups that although they do not have an excellent finish they look very beautiful, I have a support from another set of cups and that was where I put them.
