Amazing tool... This is a serious business impact wrench!!!
The media could not be loaded. This tool is serious business!!!I do like power tools not only as a tool but also as modern art man toys. Ok, I agree, I'm a little bit crazy but this is true :)This tool has enough torque to do everything I reckon a DIY or even a pro (which I'm afraid I'm not) can do with a car... wow I'm amazed.Look how easy it is even when I'm right handed and in this video of me trying the tool for the very first time, I'm using my left hand. It is fantastic!!!I was very nervous about buying an impact wrench because first of all, I know absolute nothing about impact wrenches of any kind and second, I needed the tool was able to work my cars toughest nuts like the ones in the suspension and tires. The thing is though, While I loooooove DIY and loooove fixing (sometimes what I get is the opposite :) ) my cars, I have wrecked 4 of my intervertebral discs. First because I got too fat, second because I've been careless and finally because I'm not getting any younger so now I need real support from my tools for me to be able to keep my hobbies in sync with my health. I has to say, this may be my very first really pro battery power tool but hope is not going to be the last!!! I mean, this thing is FANTASTIC!!!While I live in a tropical country with a very mild climate and no rust anywhere either in my 8 years Ford Explorer truck (the one in the video) or my car which is 10 years older (but good looking as the owner LoL ) this tool can handle absolutely every thing it can reach, amazingly easy... If you're in the market looking for something like this, go ahead and buy one... you won't regret. Is this tool better than the Snap-on? I don't have a single clue but this thing sure is cheaper, strong, powerful, solid, etc... you get the point right? :)Thank you very much for watching and for reading!!!See you next review :)JP

Loved it, didn't get to make a video unfortunately.
This tool is rather impressive. I did a lot of homework before making the investment in this everyday carry of mine. Unfortunately, the gears in the planetary gearset went out after a few weeks of use. It was soon enough that I returned to amazon with the intent of exchanging it. Amazon did not have this as an option and refunded the money to me the day after I dropped it off at UPS. Well enough, because at the time an unexpected expense arose and I could now cover with the refund. I absolutely will be buying another one soon as I believe the failure in my tool was a low likely factor defect as it would skip and stutter while impacting. It has all the power someone looking for a 1/2" impact could require. Charge time from dead was less than three hours. Due to the choice of battery type (Lithium Ion rather than NiCad) you don't have to completely discharge the battery before charging, meaning if you are working in a shop, with a charger accessible, a single 5AH battery is all you need. Even if you let the battery charge drop fairly low, the impact will just keep giving it or you can place the battery on the charger for a quick top off.A must have for road or field technicians or just you're average joe wanting the power of a pneumatic impact, without the cost of money and space of compressors and hoses, not to mention the noise a compression pump produces."Did I oil this today? This week? Where's the tool oil?" With the battery operated impact, you have no worries of tool maintenance. Just keep some juice in the battery and keep it clean (something anyone whom is proud of their tools will do)Well guys, that is it from me tonight on this tool review, perhaps next time I will get to make a video. And yes, having a brake when you release the trigger is pretty sweet.

The most powerful battery powered impact driver on Earth!
Awesome impact driver. I only received the unit last week so this is a statement of first impressions: the driver, case, battery and charger all get high marks. The battery charger was heavier and appeared better built than any other I have seen. The battery charged to full capacity within 45 minutes. Both the battery and charger had LED lights to show charge status. The driver itself performed to my highest expectations. I was drilling 12" by 1/2" lag bolts to join railroad ties for a sea wall. My (previous) corded impact driver with 240 ft lbs finally burned up/out on this task. I therefore jumped at buying a battery operated driver that boasted 1100 ft lbs, but I was wary of that much power possibly coming from a battery. Well, long story short, the unit drove about 30 of these miserable bolts and still had a half charge. I was impressed. The driver never even struggled, much less got overwhelmed, by the tough task. Bottom line, If you really want/need the best, in this case the most powerful battery powered impact driver on Earth, than buy this one. With 1100 lbs of forward driving force, even with a battery, this driver has two to three time the force of even its corded competitors. Amazing.
