Q: Will these markers bleed through a Leuchttum 1917 A5 notebook?

If they notebook has 20 lb paper like regular copy paper it will not with normal writing. If you plan to draw or paint with it you will want to use cardstock for drawing and watercolor paper for painting. These are not like sharpies or bics that are alcohol based. They will bleed through. I think you will be very happy with the Tombow dual brush markers. I use them on notebook and copy paper for writing brushlettering and use them with watercolor paper for painting. Hope this helps.

Q: How do the tips hold up after repeated use?

The tips can lose their nice pointed tip after repeated use. I remind myself to push very lightly as I'm coloring. I think it's when I'm coloring a larger area and I push harder on the tip that it can get "fuzzy" at the end.

Q: Are these like watercolor markers? i have been researching on youtube about these and winsor and newton watercolor markers. thanks!

Being that is it a water based ink they do work like watercolor markers to some extent. Meaning you can use a water brush or watercolor brush with water to blend it out but my best suggestion is to scribble down color on a laminated sheet then grab the color with your damp watercolor brush or water brush. It'll give you a more vibrant color wash.

Q: Are this able to see trough the other side of the page on a Journal?

Mix Media journals do not bleed - art quality -98#. An 80# - 100# coated writting paper works well too. Lighter stocks will bleed through.
