This projector replacement bulb is a nice replacement to have if you want something that is not overly price but still maintain the same image quality. It provides good imaging so far and had last so far. It still bring the projector fan up when i am using it. One thing I will say about it is that it did feel like a slightly tighter fit. I had to apply a little more force. You can adjust the brightness with the projector without issue. That being said, the projector bulb had worked just the same as the oem ones. It does come with the screws as well but you can use the oem ones if you wish. It is not that simple to install but it depends on your projector. You have to be careful not to force anything into the projector. Be careful not to over tighten any screws to avoid cracking or breaking anything in the projector. The bulbs been pretty sturdy. I have not seen issues with it burning out or getting weaker. The bulb is pretty the same performance as an oem so far. It has lasted so far. Only thing it was a bit of a tighter fit.

My Mistakeordered wrong bulb

Be very careful buying cheap knockoff products. I just attempted to install this and followed the instructions. Original Epson 2040 lamp released super easy. Went to install the new lamp and it was not as easy to insert. I lined it up and applied a little more force and I heard what sounded like it set. The screws will not catch anything to install. I attempted to remove the lamp and without the screws even tightened the bulb will not remove. So now what I have is a broken projector, and a lamp stuck in it that will not remove. I am really close to using a screwdriver to attempt to pry it out at this point. My old lamp needed replaced but at least worked. I am asking the seller for a refund for sure, they should be liable for the broken projector as well. When purchased that was around 950 dollars. So I am stuck with that because of cheaply made garbage???Please allow me to send this whole unit back with my projector and credit me.

For the price this is great, customer had a superbowl party and light was acting up, easy installation, made a little humming and scratching sound for a few minutes (warming up) but then was great thereafter!

This is the 3rd one we have gotten. They don't seem to last very long.

Works amazing. No issues love it

Extremely happy withe the product. Initial lamp came and went out in two months. Figured it was a faulty bulb because I've purchased this same lamp twice with no iaaue. I contacted the seller and they sent me another one our expedited no charge. Installed no issues so far. Hope it last as the two Initial ones I brought. Satisfied customer

This bulb is a dud—completely useless! Zero light, nothing.
