I used this tape to wrap an underhand wiring harness. It looks nice, sticks well and seems quite abrasion resistant. It is nicer to deal with than vinyl tape and not that expensive when you consider how long you want it to last for. I would buy it again.

I love this tape and use it all the time. Not just for wrapping wires but for so many other things. I particularly love the adhesion. It holds strong but then easily comes off when you want to remove it.

This tape is for INTERIOR use only. This TESA tape is a soft, fuzzy fleece cloth tape to wrap harnesses for anti-chaffing and quiet squeak-free operation. This is not the Tesa High Temperature Tape for engine compartment harnesses.I used this tape to repair the interior harness on a 1992 VW Jetta. The original harness was wrapped with a foam sleeve material that had degraded with age and would crumble when moved or touched. I removed all of the crumbly foam insulation wrap and re-wrapped the entire dash harness. The tape was very easy to use, looks very nice, feels good and the roll seems to cover a lot of harness. It is much easier to handle and use compared to the vinyl type of tapes. I look forward to using more of it on other restoration jobs on my other vehicles.I also just purchased the High Heat Tesa tape for the engine compartment and under-body harnesses. I am very happy with the Quality of the TESA products. Especially for German or European vehicles , the Tesa Harness Tape looks factory or like a dealership repair. It does not stand out like the vinyl or corrugated split loom products.

Strong odor out of the bag, but that dissipates over time. I use this for friction sleeping in computer cases, and for custom wire harnesses for home networking. Great adherence, tear-ability, and feel.

Flexible, easy to use, sticks to itself, allowing you to wrap wire neatly. Also works as anti-rattle tape in those areas where joint between parts is thin. I used this to install some custom electronics to my car, and the results look very professional, and not a rattle can be heard. The only suggestion is to have the wiring run and tested before applying it to the circuit. Once its' in place, you will need small scissors (surgical scissors work) to "un-wrap" this tape. The adhesive bond to itself is very tenacious when wrapping.
