This is my go to at-home henna hair dye, and I've bought it four or five times already. It works well and doesn't come off, unlike one other henna treatment I've tried. I find that henna works a lot better for me than artificial hair dye because it doesn't damage my hair. Also the henna dye has a softer, more natural look that doesn't age me like artificial hair color does.

It's my go to henna every month. Love it super easy to use. I add some water a little olive oil, coconut oil and some mayo and make it a hair mask. Leave it for 45 min. I get the best hair color and super soft

The page says all natural 'chemical free' but does not list the ingredients. So I get the dye, I've used henna before so I know what my skin can handle. Turns out this product is anything but chemical free and now I'm suffering through an allergic reaction hoping I don't need to go to the hospital. Yes it's my fault for not reading the ingredients until after I started suffering symptoms - but this is product is falsely advertised and the ingredients are not listed on the page anywhere- you have to buy it to read them. I specifically searched for chemical free products. paraphenylenediamine is a chemical that can cause serious allergic reactions. I will NEVER buy or recommend this product. Highly upset and disappointed in chemicals in this 'chemical free' product. List the ingredients on the product page please. I feel the product page is deceptive. Update, I had to go to urgent care and get prescription meds, on top of allergy meds. My face and neck swelled up so much I lost my vision for about a day, blisters and my neck is swelled up so much my breathing is compromised. I missed several days of work so this nice little adventure cost me about $1000 and a gamble with my health. Please fix your product page. You're playing with peoples lives.

I used the light brown on my locs. I kept it in overnight with a heavy duty shower cap and it made my hair black. I would use this again with this knowledge even though it didn’t change my hair light brown. I’m a little bummed about that, but I love how my hair feels. I will purchase again and try different colors.

I had used a henna product when I was much younger , and just a couple of times. I watched several YouTube tutorials because I had forgotten how to do it . I am very glad I did. I am 50 precent grey . Very salt and pepper . I have a couple of medical conditions that , over the past couple of years , have prompted me to get away from boxed hair dyes that contain too many harsh chemicals . I have tried many semi and demi permanent hair dyes in that time, but as I am so grey , they are not semi or demi permanent at all. I'd have to use them almost daily to keep the color in my very stubborn grey hair . So I decided to try Henna . I usually go with a very dark purple. . . my favorite color . I mixed the henna and oh Lord , the smell was far less than desirable . Pee eww! So I mixed an essential oil in it to mask the smell . I am really glad I did. Made a huge difference .The box said to leave the colorent on for 30-40 minutes . But my experience with grey hair told me to leave it on longer ( So did a couple of YouTube videos ) I mixed it till it was a gravy consistency , and I started at the roots in the front of my hair part by part , bit by bit to ensure all those pesky grey hairs were coated . It started to dry and get caky real quick , so I grabbed the spray bottle I have for my plants, and kept my hair moist . Then , when I was very certain that every strained was coated from root to tip , I gave it another spray down , and tied a lovely shopping bag around my head. I went to bed with the crinkly bag on my head , and woke up 7 hours later , got up and rinsed it out . I could tell right away that it worked . My hair looks like I used a boxed hair dye , though the color of purple is not as vibrant as I would really want it to be .... All my grey hair is colored over . That right there is the most important part! There is no brassy color just a nice warm very dark brown with a hint of wine color to my hair . I am very happy with the results , and highly recommend this product . There are a couple of things that I should let other shoppers know ...First , on the initial application , there was a slight sting , much like the box dyes , but that faded very quickly . And second ... I have very very thick hair , but , it's very short , styled in a 1920s style bob . I would recommend buying two boxes for shoulder length hair, and three for hair that goes down your back . Even for my shart hair , next time I order this product , which I definitely will be reordering , I plan on getting two boxes .And third thing I need to let other consumers know , my hair felt very dry after the rinse out of the dye . I would suggest a good leave in conditioner or good hair oil to apply after you rinse out the Henna.Love this product . I highly recommend!

Once I’ve used this product, I will never go back to chemical dies. This is amazing. It covers all my grays for weeks not just a week for four weeks. You gotta try it.

I bought this for the 1st time. A little messy because of the fine powder which is okay. I have been using liquid mix like naturtint, Better natured etc. I bought this because of some of the reviews and also to try Henna is more natural. I have thin fine hair shoulder length less than medium volume. Also, I have grey hair both sides near my ears and some on my hairline. My natural hair color is dark brown to almost soft black. I also left this color longer like 45 mins and it still did not cover my grey hair. This color does not fully cover the grey hair instead turn to lighter brown. Not much to say about this color. I prefer Better natured at Sally Beauty sells which covers the grey better and long lasting 96% natural. I will not buy this product again.

I tried brand name at home hair dye which never covered my gray and left my hair with a tint of orange brown. I just dyed my hair using this product and it worked amazing. My hair is pitch black the way I wanted it for a while! I’ll be using this from now on!!!
