Great for hip thrusts.
Works great. Super affordable and better quality than some I have bought at a much higher price point. Use it for hip thrusts and its very comfy.

Great quality
Definitely an injury preventer! I had a hard time squatting lots of plates because I was so focused on the bare barbell on my traps and lower neck. Now, I feel a lot more secure, comfortable, and safe when doing heavy weights! Love it! Improved my performance 300%!

Good Pad...
The pad arrived very quickly. So, props for that. It is actually thicker than I expected, but that's a good thing, right? Seems like it'll be worth the purchase. Just like the other reviews led me to buy it.

Velcro is a great feature.
I love that these have a velcro closure. As pads stretch out, they start slipping and falling off of the bar when in use. The cover is made of a nice heavy duty feeling material. The included velcro closure prevents the pad from falling or slipping off of the bar. The pad is very thick, so it's comfortable for me when performing hip thrusts (405 pounds at the moment- This pad has a lot of space for compression).The price is right! It's definitely worth it.

I bought the cheapest 8.99 one
I bought the cheapest one on a whim hopeful itd help my shoulders for squat. The cheap one I had provided no protection so I was hesitant to buy this, but man I'm glad I did. It provides amazing cushion. I use to bench in the 300s but have shoulder problems so squats were always so painful with the bar pressure, but this makes it where there's no pain, and man it genuinely feels like a great cushion. I haven't put any seriously heavy weight on it yet so I may update this review, but I put it on the bar and tested it a little and i dont have to much doubts about it. A great $8 sure its got a few cons, but if your looking for a cheap and super comfortable pad this might be the one for you im genuinely glad I gave it a shot

Awkward and slips / slides around on bar
I don't feel safe with this - it is awkward and slips and slides on the barbell bar.
