Beautiful addition to my stovetop
Gorgeous, clean up beautifully seems to heat very evenly. There was no weird odor or taste upon opening and using. The handle does not hold heat.

Beautiful!
This tea kettle gets 5 stars on the basis of beauty alone. It was just what my kitchen needed. It looks better than the pictures. As a teakettle, it is very sturdy and has a loud whistle. However, the handle and the spout get VERY hot. There is no way to open the spout without touching it. You need to first open the spout with a potholder and then also use the potholder to pick it up by the handle. I didn’t find this difficult once I got used to it but almost burned myself at first.

Cutest kettle ever!
This made a great gift! It came in an impressive, sturdy box. A lovely piece at a competitive price! Works just as any other standard tea kettle - no fuss, no muss. The only downfall, leading me to 4 stars rather than 5, is the metal cap on the spout - it gets very hot as the water boils and there is no silicone/etc. to shield you when you are ready to pour. You must have a pot holder or dish towel handy to prop it open. (Which isn't really a big deal, just an inconvenience to note)

Perky efficient tea kettle
When I ordered this I did because of the cheery cherry pattern...and I am delighted with the product. Colors are vibrant, kettle is sturdy and large enough, whistle works well. I do not find the handle getting hot, but the cover on the spout (which needs lifting to pour) does get hot, so use a potholder to open it.
