Wow, impressive! A convert for sure.
I've always used the regular disposable paper weewee pads, until I came across these doing a search for quality puppy pads. I have an 8lb dog and even with 3 walks a day he still uses a weewee pad 3x a day. At first I thought it was all about saving money, (and maybe being kind to the environment), but after some calculating, the savings aren't that much. I was buying my disposables at a good price, working out to about 20-25 cents a pad, 1 a day, that's about $75 a year, not terrible. 4 of these washable pads, plus 1 50-pack of disposables (to keep on hand when randomly necessary) would cost about that much anyway, so there are no savings (for me at least) in first year. And the savings for me over 4 years is only about $150.BUT!! that's not what I love about them. Hard though my pup tries to go in the right place, sometimes he'll just be a little close to the edge of the regular paper pads and then there's a bunch of pee on my hardwood floor that seeps underneath the paper pad with plastic backing. Yuck. That's been going on for 9 months (which is how long i've had my pup). Well, I bought a pack of 2 of these pads 6 weeks ago (then bought another 2 pack) and have not had one bit of weewee on the floor since. Not only *that*! But these somehow absorb the smell much much better, Woohoo! When he has 3 walks a day I can leave the poochpad down for sometimes 2 days before changing it. I even left one pad down for 2 days once and after he let go this huge pee i thought for sure there would be something coming through the bottom of the pad, but nope, nothing. I also think they look a bit nicer than regular pads as they sit in the corner.Re: washing. After 1 is ready to be changed i spray enzyme spray on it, run the shower over it for 30 seconds, and the pee is pretty much gone! I squeeze it out and line dry it, and it's perfect and ready to go again! So with just 4, I don't see myself every having some not available. Also, having them rinsed out means i can put them in my normal wash b/c there's really barely anything in the pad. (plus this way there's not a bunch of pee filled pads milling around in your house. After a normal wash, i feel like they are almost totally scent free, very impressive. I get the 20 x 27 inch medium for my 8lb dog.So while I'll still have some disposables on hand for those random times (dog @ mom's house, pads all due for a wash, etc) I plan on using Poochpads from now on. : ). I will update if anything changes. (already updated this review 9/1/11)3/24/12: Still love 'em. Now that i have less time i'm using paper pads at times, but i put them over the Poochpad. : ). So happy with these poochpads.8/15/15: Still love 'em. We're back to paper pads but i always always always have one of these under the paper pads still no more of that issue with using only pads, which is doggy pee too close to the edge and getting on the floor. I make sure the paper pad has an inch perimter of the pooch pad around it. I'll never be without this or one similar.

GREAT PADS!!
These PoochPads are not low cost, but think of how many disposable pads you go through - it really adds up! I have a Yorkie and a Havanese. Neither will go out if it is raining and it rains a lot here - so I really need a washable pad. These PoochPads have worked the best for me and really do hold a lot of pee!!

Great odor control
I love the odor control, but they are VERY slippery on the vinyl laminate floors.

LOVE IT! LOVE IT!! LOVE IT!!!
These Pooch Pads are the greatest thing since sliced bread!!! My Yorkie Puppy was potty trained within 3 days (with treats of course!). Who says Yorkie's are hard to potty train?! She now has quite a few of these in various sizes. This size (30" X 32") is the best for home use ~ as she likes to "scoot around" before doing her business! The smaller ones we use for travel only. She now weighs only 2.9 pounds and this IS the Perfect Size! Do Not go off the recommended size for your Baby...Bigger Is BETTER! We had some "misses" at first... right off the edge. After reading other reviews on these Pooch Pads I found another Fur-Baby's Mom with the same problem ~ Her Solution: "Washing Machine Drain Pan!" And Guess What? No more "Misses!" Ya Gotta Love It!!! AND I Am Very Thankful for the Reviewer with such a AWESOME IDEA!!! (You can get the Pan on Amazon ~ it is very inexpensive for a Great Solution!) Follow the directions on washing these Pooch Pads and yours will look the same as mine...Brand New ~ Every Time! (One added thing...I recommend the scented bleach). You get what you pay for so don't fall for the inexpensive ones...you won't save in the long run. Pooch Pads are GREAT and Worth Every Penny!!!Added: The Washing Machine Pan on Amazon is: Camco 20752 30-Inch by 32-Inch Washing Machine Pan, WhiteAlso, after reading other reviews I would like to emphasize the washing instructions. HOT water, detergent, and some bleach for sanitizing. I have 6 large pads. I wash them once per week (just fold them up and stack until you wash). For drying: tumble on medium to low (they dry very fast!).I have experienced no odor at all and I have been using these for over 8 months...well I haven't used them...my Baby does! LOL! They still look brand new. There is no odor. They have not faded in color. They do not leak through. I also have the Heavy Duty Pooch Pads as well. Love Them Too!

Great Pads
I have used this brand of pad for many years. They work great. They absorb well and was up easily. The only thing I would suggest is NOT to use bleach with them all the time. It makes the inner absorbent material unravel. I made that mistake years ago when I first bought them. The company suggested that was the reason the inner material sort of broke up and was clumpy. That was my mistake. You do not need to use bleach to get them clean , just use regular laundry soap. It does fine being cleaned with that.Great pad products.
