Exactly as advertised... just the right amount of tartness, with a wee bit of sweetness. Although it's definitely a "sour lemon" drop, it's not at all bitter as I've occasionally found with other lemon hard candies. A very pleasant, satisfying flavor.

Use this for my dry mouth. They’re delicious and nice and tart.

Honestly the main reason I'm even writing this is because I feel a little misled by the reviews here. I actually think these are among the *least* sour lemon hard candies I've tried. They're fine, I suppose, but the "lemon" flavor tastes more like those "lemon-lime" flavors (in fact, the closest analogy I can think of is like a hard candy version of a slightly tart lemon-lime soda).That being said, the candies are well-made with better ingredients than most U.S. candies. By comparison I'd say these are a sweeter version of Regal lemon drops (and a touch less sour). Some of the initial sweetness comes from the dusting of powdered sugar on the candies that dissolves after a minute to reveal the more sour candy itself (so it's sort of like a reverse Lemonhead, except the sourness of this candy is more tangy than anything and comparatively less sour than the outer shell of a Lemonhead).

They taste great and do not stick together.

I first tried these in Frankfurt Germany & they were Delicious & I now buy them a lot. You won’t be disappointed & what I like about the candies & pastries in Germany they use less sugar & that is a good thing & their products are always good.
