Quite a nice aroma .. added to my vodka /infusion I dose out to recipes
These beans I added to my existing infusion I’ve had going for years .. in the bottle of vodka I drop the beans and allow them to just sit .. in a dark cabinet is great .. like under the sink . Every time you get in the cabinet turn the bottle up side down and place back in cabinet .. my brew was low .. added the new beans and topped off with more vodka , turned the bottle 4-6 times over a 10 day before I used it again .. the aroma was great ! And the flavor was superb !After I use the bottle down to 3/4 remaining I add vodka to top off .. you will notice the extract darkens .. when the color is more like tea than dark coffee it may be time to add some new beans .. this will be according to your use ..I like to start a new culture with at least 1/5 of vodka and 20 beans / or to a 750 ml of vodka add 25-30 beans to begin the process . A new vanilla extract will have flavor before the dark coffee like color develops fully .. can start using a new extract after 30- 45 days .. depending on temp and how often you turn the bottle up side down and back to mix .

First time vanilla and love it!
I came accross some youtubers making vanilla extract and decided to try. I found Native Vanilla on Amazon with good reviews so I decided to buy vanilla beans from this seller and am glad that I did. My order came very quick. This is the first time for me so I didn't know " beans" about it! But with this order, I can tell you that I am quite please! I could smell the vanilla from the shipping package upon received! The aroma from these beans were so pleasantly strong! The beans were very long, plumb, and moist! I put these 10 beans in 32oz of volka upon received on 02/09/21. I splitted the beans lengthwise, flipped them inside out, and I had to fold them in half in oder to fit them into the jar. Today is 02/14/21, within 5 days, the liquid already has a dark amber color. I am very please! I put in two more of same orders to this sellers. When my next orders arrise, I will try to experiment extracting vanilla half without splitting the beans and half with only slitting the beans. I believe my first vanilla extract has deepend the corlor quicker because I rolled the beans inside out and this might not be the corrrect way to do vanilla extract. But of cause, I know no beans about this either! Peace to you all!

Fresh, Vacuum Sealed, Grade A Vanilla Beans ... Recommend Try for Yourself ...
My daughter is raising 5 grandchildren (my great-grand-babies) ... She is always cooking/baking/making something for them ... to save money she makes a lot of things for herself ... Like Vanilla Extract (which is still Very Expensive (even though it has been years since the hurricane that damaged all those crops) ... She was almost out of the batches she made about 5+ years ago - so we found these Madagascar Grade A Vanilla Beans that seemed to have good ratings (& they were on special so not too expensive - especially for the amount of Extract she will be making) ... She said the beans arrived well sealed ... vacuum packed, appeared fresh/moist w/a clearly marked expiration date of 04/01/23 ... She said the beans had a "Wonderful Full Rich Vanilla Aroma" upon opening ... she split the beans & divided them between a bottle of Tito's Vodka & a bottle of another Specific kind of Rum ... She stores these in a dark cool place (shaking them periodically) for at least 3 months before she will start using ... but says she prefers to wait at least 6 months to a year for best flavors ...

Great Vanilla Beans, Aromatic but some white marks on some
I really have to say, I was nervous to spend money on a product I couldn’t see when I bought it, especially considering budgeting, but this was fantastic. I have not tasted anything made with these beans yet so I can’t rate the flavor but the aroma was far better than any bean I’ve purchased before, the size was plump and several were 7”-8” long. The only thing I had to say was that there was some white marks on the ends of two of the shorter beans, but I didn’t get a good look if whether or not it was growth or vanilin crystals. I cut it off immediately and I’m hoping it won’t be a problem. But so far, they seem to be the best quality beans (as well as the least expensive beans) I’ve purchased.

Best vanilla on amazon
Best vanilla bean I have found on Amazon. They are incredibly supple and soft, full of caviar, and quite large. Clearly have a high moisture content, but seems like they will work great for extract. Within 2 days of putting split pods in vodka, I couldn’t smell the vodka (just smelled the vanilla) which is absolutely unheard of.I noticed a picture of someone saying they had mold. If a white substance develops on the beans while they are in 70-100 proof (35-50%) alcohol, that is vanillin crystals developing on the bean and that is a GOOD thing. It means that the beans are extremely flavorful. They come in around 7-8 inches, and 1 order weighed 56 grams and the second weighed 61 grams. This is about 2x the weight of other vanilla suppliers I have I ordered from on Amazon. If you are making vanilla extract, this is enough to make about 16 ounces single fold according to the FDA guidelines (ignore all those recipes and YouTube videos that tell you to use one or two beans per jar, they are very wrong). If you do want to follow the poor advice of most YouTube videos, this is enough to make 5 pints.

Very Relieved
I wanted to purchase these vanilla beans because of the great price for Grade A. I read all of the reviews. Very glad that I did. I received the best looking , feeling moist and great aroma beans. Held onto to them for two months before using. I used the majority of them for making vanilla sugar. They did the job, but all of the sugar became one big lump. No water, no fungus, no mold. The beans were so moist and oily like they were supposed to be, that I feel the sugar absorbed the moisture. I took it out , put it into the food processor. Grounded up the lumps of sugar added some dry rice and put into different containers. I will check on it again in one week. The rest of my vanilla beans are still moist, look and smell good. I have them stored in original bag inside a baggy with the air pressed out and rubber banded tight in a dark cool cabinet in the kitchen. I will purchase from this seller again.
