Eden Hot Pepper Toasted Sesame Chili Oil, Unrefined Expeller Pressed, 5 oz Amber Glass Bottle

This is my favorite hot sesame oil. I primarily use it on Japanese-style soups. I add a few dashes and it adds a wonderful sesame hot spice flavor. It's wonderful on cold winter days. It's expensive but a little goes a long way.

The aroma of toasted sesame seed is the first thing you notice when you open the bottle. The taste is wonderful with just the right amount of heat. It pairs well with almost any food you enjoy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Acceptably tasty for a good price. Less viscous and heavy on the sesame flavor than a more expensive brand. In some ways I like that. Plenty hot.

It's a little pricey, but a little bit goes a long way. Nice flavor, especially when coupled with Gyoza sauce on fish.

How is no one pointing out how awful the pour / lid / cap is? I lose half the oil every time I try to use it due to how poorly designed the bottle and pour mechanism is. Yes, the flavor is good, but a product review consists of the entire product, and this one missed the boat in the design department. I will happily raise my review if they can fix their packaging. Note, this was not an Amazon issue, this is in regard to the actual design of the pour bottle the oil comes in. Be prepared to spill a good portion of the oil everywhere, every single time you try to use it. The bottle will be disgusting and you will only get about 70% of what you pay for due to leakage.
