Just what I needed
Worked great! I drilled a hole in my desk for this and used a 51mm hole saw drill bit. It fit well but wasn’t snug until I put about 2 layers of gaffer tape around the grommet before pushing it back in the hole and that worked perfectly.

Not 2” inner diameter.
It’s 1 7/8”. Might be fine if you’re not looking at exact size. Bough few different brand and they’re all either 1 7/8 or 1 3/4…

Solid product
Works great. My one complaint is that the middle price comes off fairly easily. If it was a bit sturdier, I’d give it 5 stars. Still would recommend and buy again.

Go with the 2 inch hole and not the 1 7/8 hole (too small)
Contrary to what another review said, I would go with a 2 inch hole saw vs. the 1 7/8 as I cut the hole using the 1 7/8 and then had to grind the hole larger to fit this item. I would prefer the alternative of putting tape on the item to fit the larger hole if I had to versus having to make the hole larger after using the 1 7/8. Having said that the item works once the hole is the right size. My cables look much better under my desk.

These were exactly like the ones that came with my desk. They seem to be better build quality too.

Built-in DIY Cord through
I bought these after needing to drill a hole in our butcherblock built-in tops in order to put a lamp cord through. I used a 2.5 inch hole saw drill but and with a little electrical tape (as suggested in some other reviews) around the base it fit perfectly!

New use for the grommet!
This was just what I needed to cover a 2" hole in my door. It is my garage door (not the big, metal one) to the outside and the hole is for the cord used annually to connect to the generator during hurricanes. The old covering piece broke and I couldn't figure out how to replace it. Thought of the computer grommet and, upon my receipt of the 2-pack, put one on the outside and one in the inside. If/when the next hurricane comes, I will just slide open the little piece and run the cord through. When done, close it back up. Keeps the varmints outside.

Works great, Exactly what I needed.
Works great, Easy to install just drilled the hole needed to accept the grommet. Looks professional not some cheap looking grommet.
