Savory Choice Liquid Vegetable Broth Concentrate, 4..06-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 4)

This product and the chicken flavored one was formerly available from Trader Joe's. They stopped carrying the vegetable flavor a while back, but fortunately I found it on Amazon. These are little packets of broth concentrate to which you add 1 cup of hot water. This concentrate has a great taste and I am constantly using it when I need to add more liquid to a dish. I am vegetarian, but cook chicken based dishes for my husband and find this useful for those dishes when out of chicken. The box is small, easy to store and the expiration date is 2-3 years from purchase. I use this when I want broth without the hassle of making broth. It's great to use in place of water when making rice, noodles, etc. It's lower in sodium than most canned/boxed broth or stock, having 360mg per cup. It has a good flavor that isn't fake or salty and is very convenient to use. It's a standard stock item in my kitchen.

I got this in a subscription box and I think it's great. I love that it's in a concentrated liquid form instead of a powder -- it mixes into dishes much more smoothly. But because it's concentrated instead of regular strength, it takes up much less space in the pantry and has a lower shipping weight. Plus, there are options for making the flavor stronger without cooking off a whole lot of water.I've used this in pretty much every way you can use broth -- grain dishes, soups, adding a bit of flavor to cooked greens, etc. It tastes good and I love that it is low sodium (I always opt for low sodium broth when I can).This is shelf stable (does not need to be kept in the refrigerator). Each little packet is the equivalent of 8 ounces of liquid broth so you can use just the amount you want and not have half-full packages of broth in the refrigerator (a problem when you buy quarts, which I often do). You can't easily reclose the packages, for what it's worth, but because they're small, you really can just use all of it in whatever you're cooking.It's got a little bit of a different flavor compared to the Pacific Foods vegetable broths, probably due to the presence of yeast extract and tomato as one of the base vegetables. So this would also be good if you are not happy with other vegetarian broths currently on the market.

These concentrates step up soup, pasta and any dish that has a sauce. My family now wants only my chicken soup when they are sick and when they are well.

Incredibly delicious! We first came across this brand through being Hello Fresh customers and quickly fell in love with the taste. I tried using regular veggie stock from the supermarket but it didn't come close to this brand. I like using it in rice or couscous, but it also tastes wonderful in a good sauce. Great value for this price! I use one little package for a two-person serving of rice or couscous, so this will last us a long time.

I bought these veggie stock packets after they stopped carrying them at Trader Joe's. I love that the small box holds 10 or 12 cups worth of stock, once you add water. It's great for my small kitchen, and means I don't have to buy another big box or can of stock each time I need it. Less waste, too, both from packaging and from throwing out half used big boxes of stock.

Works perfect for hello fresh recipes and is packaged super conveniently. Tastes amazing

This vegetable broth is flavorful and so easy to use! I frequently use this instead of chicken broth, as the flavor is superior to many chicken broths and wins over bouillon hands down. I like to take it camping because of the size. It's also great for those small amounts of broth that doesn't require an entire can--it doesn't take up a lot of cabinet space, either. Use an entire packet with less water for a more condensed broth.

This product advertises no MSG but the packages I received contain "natural flavoring" which we all know is in fact MSG! So sorry I bought so much of it. 1 star because it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Will donate to the food bank I guess :-/
