Q: How long is the cavity? Long enough for hotdog buns?

If you are looking to bake regular size hotdog buns - the answer is no. Cavities are not long enough for that. This mold is mostly used for frozen or mousse dessert , not to bake. For baking needs molds are usualy brick- red color.

Q: did any one know how we could get the final structure ?? is that kind of spray on it thanks

Yes, you could do it by either spraying with a Velvet Colored Spray type which contains colored cocoa with or without chocolate, and spray it directly on the frozen desert. Or if you have an electric sprayer, you could mix 50% cocoa butter (opt. colored) and 50% chocolate couverture, and spray on the frozen desert. Desert has to be cold in order to get the velvet look texture.

Q: Can you use these to make homemade twinkies?

You certainly can. Use a filling tube on a pastry bag or cream dispenser. If using cream in a dispenser make sure to either stabilize the cream and keep chilled or serve at once.

Buy directly from Silikomart

Very nice mold. 5 stars to the maker, Silikomart but honestly one star to this seller for shipping out dirty items. My mold arrived filthy and covered in grease or dirt, who knows. Its partially stained now. BakeDeco please be more mindful of this and store your merchandise accordingly! I will be sure to purchase directly from Silikomart and never from this seller in the future. I think I even would have just brushed it off except other reviews also complain of receiving dirty items.This mold is easy to use. I create beautiful and modern mousse cakes and semifreddos. It is easy to clean and is of very good quality. Silikomart is a top Italian brand and I highly recommend anything from them for the pastry professional.
