Nintendo DS Lite Metallic Silver (Renewed)

The media could not be loaded. The DS arrived in like new condition!! It came with a charger! A couple VERY minor scratches on the top screen, but you can’t even see them while playing. All ports are clean, the stylist is new and fits in the spot wonderfully (no wiggling or falling out), the game boy cover is locked in place but easy to remove and reinstall. Unsure how the GB works, since I don’t currently have any GB games, but the DS game slot works perfectly. I was easily able to fill out settings with my daughters info (name, color, etc) and reset the date and time. It came with a plastic covering on the blue shield and the bottom screen, which I’m assuming was replaced prior to sell since it’s in perfect condition. All buttons work and play smoothly, as so the power and volume switches. Haven’t tried headphones yet, since I only have Bluetooth ones right now. The entire system is CLEAN, I know the reflection of light makes the parts around the interior screens look questionable in the video, but it is spotless. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase and glad my oldest kiddo can have her first system be something so much more manageable, easier to use and travel with, and sturdier than other, newer options. (She’s 4, almost 5 and has been begging for a Switch to play Mario)

Great condition. The console doesn’t have a scratch on it that I’ve seen. Looks brand new. Everything works perfect on it

Purchased from: Eternia GamingIt said mine was in "excellent" re-newed condition, and the first thing I noticed was, that it has heavy scratches/damage and no original box. Then when I tried playing pokemon fire red, the R button kept being pressed without me touching it, and it brings up a menu and doesn't let me play at all. Then there was problems reading both DS and GBA cartidges constantly.. Amazon's standards and testing for this one was very low. I'd trust someone on ebay selling it "like new" or "very good" for around the same price, cuz atleast you'll see pictures and have it tested better. They usually have better quality. I'm guessing Amazon had a bunch of broken ones, that they buy for 2 bucks or get it free, and then "re-new" it, into a barely working state to sell it. On ebay you could get ones that have never been broken before, and have descriptions/photos that show a good condition... I'm hospitalized and very sick so I have an extremely hard time returning stuff.. this one's gonna be a huge bother, if I can't fix it on my own.. not worth the gamble. I expected it to be decent atleast, but it was a let down..

Works well, plays the games, though the buttons have poorly printed on letters/designs and the bottom screen was put in crooked which is just enough to be annoying. I have no idea if that is because it was opened and refurbished or if Nintendo quality really dropped at some point, either way, not too much of a problem.Over all, it works, I can play my games, the sound is great, and I am having a blast playing pokemon games with it, so it’s great

Product arrived in excellent condition. Upon closer inspection, this product had been re-shelled, (an excellent job, too), and it had non-original buttons. The replacement buttons that were installed on this are low-quality, as the letters on them weren’t centered, and the start and select buttons had a small divit in them. (Original buttons do not have this divit). The lower screen was slightly yellowed (Original DS screens have this problem naturally), but it wasn’t terribly noticeable unless you were viewing a white screen. Everything on this console worked as intended. To summarize, the only things about this that didn’t seem quite perfect to me, was 1, the quality of the shell was a little low, but still works well, 2, the lower screen was slightly yellowed (as I said before, that is natural for an original screen, but I would have preferred that it would have been replaced). And finally 3, the d pad, xyab buttons, and start/select buttons were lower quality (still very useable though). That is why I gave this only four stars. It is excellent quality, but the repairs were done a little cheaper than I would have liked. The picture I have attached to this review was taken with the flash on so that the letters on the buttons are more visible.

Received promptly. Well packed. No scratches anywhere. Looks and works like brand new. Came with a charger. Recommended seller.

Three stars because the actual DS works and is in pretty decent condition. Was pretty disappointed with the charger I received with this DS Lite. Covered in corrosion and dirt, and bent out of shape, literally. Had to order a new cord, because Amazon would only offer me a refund, or a replacement if I sent the whole thing back. Unfortunately I got it for my son's birthday and it was too late to exchange it. Sending a cord like this is unacceptable.
