Working just fine for me
I'm using these controllers with the following LED strip: "LEDENET Double Row RGBCCT Flexible LED Strip Lights 600LEDs/spool 5050 RGB W WW Color Changing RGBW RGBWW Ribbon Lamp and Tunable White LED Tape Lighting Waterproof IP67 16.4ft Long".I haven't had any issues and am able to control the colored LEDs and white LEDs independently and simultaneously to give a huge range of color selection. Also the brightness control works fine allowing me to dim the LEDs as needed.I can't speak to the range because the remote has always been within about 10m of the controller.Note that have the power supply connected to a switched outlet for turning the lights on and off and this works fine. In other words, I use the remote control to set the color. Then I have a standard light switch to turn the strip power supply on and off. This controller is made such that it remembers the color setting so that when the AC is turned back on (and therefore the DC voltage to the controller is re-applied), the same color (and brightness) is displayed on the LED strip as was shown before power was removed.

Misleading description
It says: Wifi enabled smart phone control, 2.4Ghz wireless tech.Then you open the box and it tells you that you need to buy a hub for it to work with your cell phone. Very frustrating.

Works usually
It would be nice if it worked with all models of the controllers from Mi Light.Occasionally the channel buttons stop working and it takes removing and replacing the batteries to reset it.
