The product box was a disaster. The ends were opened and the sides were smashed. Question. Is this product safe to use?

I was brokenhearted when they stopped selling Lipton loose tea in my grocery store. Since then, about 5 years ago, I had been searching diligently for loose tea. I found this on Amazon and took a chance that it would be comparable. To my amazement, it is exactly the same product. Yes, it is a bit more expensive, but I am willing to pay in order to have the product to use at home. I have been making brewed tea 40 years! Yes I am very happy with this purchase!

It is simply good tea

I do not know what happened to this Lipton Tea. It did not taste the same, it did not respond to our tea making process as usual, the tea was cloudy and just tasted bad. Our tea has been brewed and processed the same for over 50 years of marriage and never has it tasted as bad as our last box from Lipton.it has forced us to look for alternative tea. The only tea plantation in the USA is in Charleston SC. You can buy loose tea from the Charleston Tea Company if you have had the same results we have had. This is a sad day for serious tea drinkers, you have a hard time finding loose tea in the stores. My guess is the current generation does not brew their own tea. Walmart sells gallon jugs of sweet and non-sweet tea and it seems to sell very well. We hate that Lipton has a problem.

Product good but too expensive

I'm 74, and this Lipton Yellow Label Tea, which is a loose black tea, is the most delicious tea I have ever had in my life. I was using Lipton family size tea bags, and it was good, but something was missing. It wasn't the product itself, so I knew that it was either the fact that I couldn't make good tea, or something else. So I bought some Lipton Yellow Lable loose leaf tea, and have got to say that this is the absolute best tea that I have ever tasted in my life. It was so good that I after testing out this loose tea, I immediately threw away all my tea bags and am now using only the Lipton Yellow Label loose black tea. What a game changer! This stuff is delicious beyond words!

Great loose-leaf tea. You can make strong Arabic tea with this if you have a double tea pot. Reminds me of Istanbul cafes.
