I have an old Sony Vaio that I needed a power cord for and this worked great.

I was extremely happy with this charger. My original charger had just recently broke and I worried I wouldn't find one to fit my laptop since I have an older version of a Sony Vaio that hadn't been very popular. However not only did the charger come in the mail very quick, it also fits my laptop model! The end is a little too long and juts out a bit but it fits the insert well and works at charging it nonetheless so it's not an issue. Would recommend for older versions!

Looking for a charger for my old Sony vaio PCG7173. This one arrived quickly and fits my laptop. Feels cheaper than the factory one that came with it, but the price was awesome. I won’t need to use this often so I’m thinking it’s going to work well for how often I will use it.Will update in a few months if review changes.

This battery worked OK for the first two months, very loose at the connection site. However after that my computer started displaying an error that something was wrong with my battery when i used it, and then today the charger box started squealing anytime it’s plugged in. Wasted money as it is trash now and outside the return window. Don’t but this- it’s garbage.

I'm so happy that I found this product available, especially on Amazon with free Prime shipping! After nearly 8 years of use, my Sony VGN-NS130E notebook PC no longer was charging; instead of spending money to have it diagnosed, I figured it was probably due to the power adapter no longer functioning, so I ordered this genuine Sony unit as a replacement, and it works great. It's even an upgrade from the original adapter which came with the unit, having a more substantial power cord, 3-prong wall plug and 3-prong adapter connection. Looking forward to at least 8 more years of use out of my great Sony PC!
