This is a good set of brushes for oil painting. They're just stiff enough and they hold a lot of paint. So far they're holding up well easy to clean and reshape.

I originally planned to return this set after receiving another one I had bought, but I couldn't bring myself to part with this set because it's so nice, and the brush hairs felt really good. Based on looks alone, I would recommend this set. I also love the sturdy feel of the knives, and I'll update this review after trying out the complete set.

These paint brushes are super versatile, high quality, and create beautiful strokes on your canvas. My wife absolutely loves the sock nest, easy cleanup, and of course, the results they give to her artwork. Definitely a great buy!

Nice set until this happened after one use, it started shedding then the bristles came out when I cleaned it.

I was hesitant to purchase these, but these are excellent brushes. I have used these to work on a few large paintings and maintained them with a few different brush dips, and the hairs have held their shape and not fallen out. I use a mix of varying brush hairs, and if you are not familiar with hog bristles, they are great for adding a lot of texture with oil paint – not so much for detail work. I enjoy them enough that I will probably buy a second set just for a traveling backup.

Easy to clean, Authentic Hog Hair, well built and great sizes for oil or acrylic.I have used these brushes for a few months and is the first set to hold its durability with countless abrasive cleanings. The brushes are easy to load and keep a sharp line with oil paints and mediums. The sizes and brush profiles are great, a well rounded set for large block in and smaller detail and highlight painting. 10/10
