Q: Can this be used on other whippers?

iSi has cleverly made this cartridge larger so it will not fit into the other whippers. They have designed it to be used exclusively with their nitro whipper, which has slightly different components.

Q: Are there any other options? Or are they the only manufacturers of this cartag?

As far as we are aware the only N2 cartridges that fit in the iSi Nitro whipper are iSi branded cartridges.

Q: Is this pure nitrogen?

Yes. N2 is pure nitrogen. If you want this for Nitro Coffee, you're in the right place. Also, it will not work with whip cream dispensers...no shortcut there...it will only work with Isi's Nitro Dispenser.

Q: Are all the isi charger cartridges the (n2, no2, co2) the same size.? i'd like to experiment with my gourmet whip for nitro coffee or even seltzers.

N2 is a thicker cartridge compared to N2O and CO2 cartridges. N2O and CO2 cartridges are identical in size.
