This mostly works and is delightful to look at
This (we got the frog) looks just like the photo. It is heavier than I'd expected. It brings a smile to our faces. We installed it in our kitchen -- not what the manufacturer intended -- but we needed a small faucet to fill the coffee maker, and this is a good size for that. A few things of note: the threads on it are little more than 1/2 inch from edge to back of the threads, and the collar (lilly pad looking escutcheon) does not back up beyond the threads, so the attachment of the faucet to the plumbing happens inside the wall (a risk, I know). Outside this wouldn't be an issue, as the plumbing/pipe extends beyond the wall, and then this faucet would attach (and the escutcheon would not sit flat against the wall). Also, the frog part, which you turn, doesn't sit they way you might like when the water's off. It may face the wall. Still, we're happy with it.

Wrong tread pattern
Looks good, and it has a clear coating on it to prevent tarnishing. The problem with this product is the threading. The front threads where the hose attaches is a fine thread instead of standard coarse tread. I had to use pliers to attach a plastic hose fitting. I also had to use a thicker rubber washer. To stop the water from leaking. Using the pliers you are retreading the plastic hose connection to fit the spigot. It’s now useless on any other standard hose spigot.

Threads do not fit to connect.
It is very cool. Heavy. Appears to be made well. However. To use it. I would have to re-thread the fittings. They simply do not fit any connector I’m able to get.
