Game Changer for Chronic Pain
I use this product everyday and it has made a huge difference in my day-to-day pain levels. Around 2017, I hurt my chest (sternum area) lifting weights and have been battling this chest tightness and sharp pains when sneezing/coughing for the last two years. This is the best product I have found for helping stretch my chest out and it also just so happens to do wonders on my back! At first when rolling slowly on the wheel, my back would crack crack crack bringing a lot of relief. About 2 weeks later, my back cracks less and my chest pain has been greatly reduced! A few things to consider before purchasing:1. This is not a cure all. The source of my pain was from a lifting injury but poor posture at work was also contributing. Besides including this wheel in my routine, I also made a conscious effort to straighten my spine at work and take regular breaks to give my body a break from sitting.2. Go slow. Do not buy this and immediately start stretching for half an hour (like I did. Your back muscles will be sore). Start slow. Roll for a few minutes or find a starter yoga wheel youtube video. You do not want to accidentally injure yourself.3. I did give UpCircleSeven a 3 out of 5 on sturdiness. I had one for about a month and was using it when I heard a crack and looked to see that a hairline fracture had split on part of the wheel. It did not collapse or anything to hurt me. I contacted their support and had a new one shipped to me right away. Great service and the new one we have received has had no issues.Overall, if you are looking for back relief and spend a good chunk of time sitting, this is definitely worth a shot.Good luck with your health,Zach

love itI teach martial taichi
love itI teach martial taichi, yoga and personal train athletes..Im a workout fanatic and have been all my life,in every kind of workout,,martial arts, body building, sprinting and long distance running.Since Im 74,ive been injured in every part of my body my exercising from the outside in. But I got smart and changed my whole way of exercising.Adhering to perfect alignment and posture in EVERY body part with the stabilizers surrounding the joints as the most important.Once the posture is PERFECT,then I let the body instruct me to how far the stretch or how much to lift just like a 5 year old child. Strength, flexibility and alignment in balance all go together.Sacrificing the alignment to achieve a result is building castles in sand.Overstretching a joint[as seen in many gymnasts, ballet dancers and yogis] a is just as bad as understrecthing, perhaps worse as sets you up for arthritis when you get older, especially athletes.Long story short, training like a 5 year old child,BY FEELING,throwing out ALL previous knowledge has enabled the flower to bloom and healed every injury I ever had so at this juncture I am more flexible stronger in the stabilizer muscles and have more energy than at any time of my life.To that end I will use anything and every kind of prop to achieve the FEELING of complete openness and stability in the WHOLE body. The wheel is a welcome addition to my collection of toys. Before I end this long diatribe, let me repeat, let NOBODY be your ultimate teacher or guru no matter how wonderful they may be.Look I love Iyengar as the master guru for training along those lines. BUT as a consequence of overstretching his joints as a younger man, although he could do any pose, when he got older he could not walk with ease with erect posture, but that side to side walk seen in most older athletes suffering from hip problems. My last word, let the 5 year old child be your master in the body and also be the loving mommy and daddy to keep baby safe and not let him sacrifice the structure to achieve a goal.Be in this very moment IN your body and let go of all trivial fond records in the mind that interfere with being at peace in the structure [bodymind],like a child who is loved. PS.Love the wheel, different sizes would be fun also.

Use and maintenance
So far very sturdy and has a great grip on the floor. Using it for flexibility purpose. It is easy to clean sweat off this and pack in a gym pack and back.

Seems to help
I will get gnarly lower back pains and have to really be careful how I move around. I'm somewhere in my 30's, about 170 lbs, and sit a lot for work. Anyway after my last "flare-up" I thought there had to be something to help workout my back as a preventive measure to either recoup faster, or to prevent future flare-ups. There are a lot of these wheels on the market, but this one appeared to have pretty good reviews. Now I'm not saying that I feel like a new person, or that everyone needs one of these or anything, but I think I can say I do notice a difference. At first I had a heck of a time just trying to keep balanced on the wheel. This isn't to say I'm clumsy or have poor balance, but when you have it on your lower back area and you entire torso and head are unsupported, your core really gets a work-out. Other people have pointed out that holding still on the wheel instead of rolling helps to really loosen the muscles in the area so I just kept up with it. Probably every 2-3 days I will roll and I try to position myself so I can rest my head on the couch so I can still have the wheel on my lower back for a couple of minutes, but rest my head as needed.Anyway my back has felt pretty loose and I haven't had any twinges or anything in the past several weeks so I would say, "so far, so good". As for the quality of the product, this thing is rock solid. I don't feel it deflecting under me and it isn't cracking or doing anything crazy. It still looks brand new and the "wood" one looks just as classy as it does in the pictures on here. It's probably plastic or something with a wood grain vinyl wrap around it, but regardless it looks nice and the outer foam with cork layer is holding up just fine as well.
