I bought 2 of these adjustable bar stools 5 years ago and paid $500 for each at a luxury furniture store. I loved them and used them everyday, however, my cat chewed the leather and destroyed them. I Shopped online and bought a different bar stool (100% leather for $998) and the cylinder was broken so I had to return them. I looked everywhere for these specific bar stools until I finally found them on Amazon. These are identical bar stools to my previous ones and the assembly was very easy (it does take 2 people and 15 minutes). I am over the moon to have these bar stools again. They are so beautiful and comfortable; they look a lot more expensive. I definitely recommend these bar stools.

Signature by Ashley must have taken note of customer experiences/frustrations mentioned in Amazon reviews Bc there was only one sticker on my stool; & not in a noticeable area of the seat bottom. Instructions say “2 or more needed to assemble.” I Don’t understand what they’re talking about. I assembled it by myself...& quite easily. Also...bc reviews were warning buyers to remove a plastic “plug,” I almost busted the mechanism that raises/lowers the seat! No plastic plug on the stool stem except the one that’s supposed to be there; so, leave it. You just have to get a feel for pressure on the lever. To lower the seat...sit on it & lift the lever. It’s super comfy & classy looking! Very pretty stool.

Hello everyone. Just wanted to give my opinion on this Chair. The Chair itself deserves 5 Stars all day long....it's very easy to assemble, its very comfortable, and the finish & functionality is a 10+. I could not give this a 5 Star rating because of the stupid decals placed on the bottom of the seat. There are 4 decals...2 of them removed very easily but, 2 of them seemed to be glued on with permanent glue. I'm not joking when I say this....generally, decals can be removed with "Goof Off" or "Alcohol' without any issues. That not the case with these Chairs...I tried my best to remove the 2 decals with a Hair Dryer, Goof Off, and also a little it of Alcohol but, the Adhesive Goo would not come off, literally damaged the finish ! At least the damage is on the bottom of the seat so, no one really see's it but, to the Manufacturer, please stop with the decals....they ruin the finish on your beautifully designed Chair !

I love this type do Paris chair! So comfortable to sit and quality . I still own this for 4 years!

First of all I should say that this chair is absolutely beautiful. The but...I got a chair that had been previously manipulated. Someone had tried to put the chair together before me. Why do I say that - because I could see that the nuts and bolts had been put together by the directions. I thought that was curious, but I just kept putting my chair together. Then i put the base down and the one leg on which only had a red button at the top. So once I put the seat and the back on to the upper base and put the whole thing together I noticed I could not adjust the seat up or down. I could not figure out what went wrong. I followed the details to the tee. Nothing out of the ordinary to do. I am short and weigh average and I was able to put it together. It still would not work. Amazon sent me a new chair and I looked carefully at the packaging this time. The nuts and bolts had not been put together, I had to do that. And then I noticed something that I had not seen before - on the base leg at the top was a black knob that said "take me off", I did and it exposed the red button. I said to myself there wasn't a black knob on the other one. I put my new chair together and it worked perfectly. So now It was time for me to take the old chair apart. Easy as pie, but I noticed that that black knob had been stuck in the shoot of the upper leg. Someone had tried to put this chair together and messed up sent it back. Please do not send this chair back out. Please. I pray amazon reads this and does not put this review out, but sends this review to the manufacturer or the company it came from. If you get an original chair it will work beautifully and will compliment a home with elegance. The chair should get five stars but because I was sent a chair that was not inspected and sent back as a defect that is why it receives one star.

This chair is great, easy to put together, looks nice, comfortable. But, I've had it three months and the foot rest just broke on one end where it's soldered to the main part of the chair. It'll be easy to weld back together, but still.

These are NOT black leather like shown in the ad. Extremely disappointed as they do not match the decor of my home.
