It is what it is.
I am reasonably happy with this phone, because it was basically what I wanted. Its simple, so far durable, and cheap. I've dropped it a couple of times already (normal drops, nothing crazy) and it hasn't completely exploded or anything. On the down side, it is a step right back in time and has some quirky little features that drive me a little nuts. The microphone, for example, is off to the side of the phone so that if I press the phone to my shoulder while trying to check mail and unlock doors and things, the microphone is pressed to my cheek and no one can hear me. The texting is not set up like any phone I remember owning. It defaults to the mode where you press the 5 key three times to get to L. There is an autofill option, but you have to go to that every time you send a text. It won't stay on that mode like it would on every other phone I've had. Also the autofill is very different from what I've used before, in that it is overly ambitious about guessing the words. After finishing one word, it may suggest a whole new word for the next word (I type "you" and it might suggest "know", or something like that). Or I might type only two letters and it suggests a 6 letter word. IDK. Maybe this is normal to other phones, but I've never had it before and find it difficult to adapt to. I don't text much, so I didn't think it would be a problem, but I do text enough for this to annoy me. Especially because when I do text its usually a time sensitive kind of thing, so taking longer is inconvenient. Also the battery guide is kind of weird. It drops below full very quickly, but runs on empty for a super long time (I've never had it die on me). It seems to have a decent battery, because I think I'm only charging it once or twice a week. But at the end of the day, it is what I wanted. I am using it with a regular contract plan through at&t, not the go plan stuff. That hasn't created any problems at all. And that is all that actually matters.

Functional for emergencies, but otherwise mediocre.
This isn't a smartphone, or a feature-rich phone, even if -- in some small and pointless ways -- it tries to pretend it is, at least a little bit. What it is, is a simple, sturdy, emergency candy-bar phone. And when you buy one of those, you usually know what you're getting -- a no frills device, certainly, but one that is at least good at being a phone. That's why you buy it, after all.Unfortunately, it falls short even in this. Signal-wise, it's no worse than any other phone, but the audio quality is poor. You can make out what the other person is saying, but the audio is tinny and a little distorted. I think it's the worst-sounding phone I've owned in many years. All in all, it's functional, it won't break, and you'll be able to use it in emergencies -- but beyond that, it's a mediocre device.

its just okay
i got this phone because i needed a simple phone, small light weight, it fits the bill. just wish the buttons for the numbers were a it bit bigger and easier to push. they are so small and not designed well. also im not so happy with the phone battery. it does not hold a charge? for 2 days only and i dont use the phone much, so i have to keep charging too often. i dont like this part. i had a nokia cell l loved it, made so well, kept the charge for me for long time. it was made well, the battery was strong lasted years. they dont make it anymore so i had to buy this one. its better than the flip phones.

Good for the Price
Great little phone for the price. Does everything is says. We have had it for about a month now with no problems. The key lock was a little tricky to figure out, but we just did a quick Google search and found the answer. It has survived several drops from several feet in the air with no damage, so that is a major plus! I knew the phone did not have a camera, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out it could receive pics. The only things that prevented 5 stars would be the loudness of the ringtones, but they aren't extremely low, so it will do.

I gave it to our granddaughter to use until she can replace her more expensive smart phone. She hates it for texting
This is a cheap Go Phone that works perfectly well as a phone. I gave it to our granddaughter to use until she can replace her more expensive smart phone. She hates it for texting, and she is probably right. She also wishes it had longer battery life. However, she is glad to have it for now, and is worth the price! It is nice and small and easy to use--as a phone.

All in the Details
I got this for a "drop phone" meaning emergency use only. Any phone with a charge, sim card and battery can be used to dial 911 for an emergency even without a pay plan per law. So, this is going in the emergency car kit in the trunk along with a cell phone charger. If I need another phone, I can also active this through AT&T for a small fee of $2.00 per day and get:A. Unlimited Nationwide CallingB. Unlimited MessagingC. Unlimited TextingD. Pay per use: 1 cent for 5/kb dataNot bad for a back up phone either.I recommend this for emergency and backup phone use.Vidimo Se!

Great value
I bought two of these phones to replace old broken phones for my kids. They are in middle school and do not always take the best care of their phones. It was a great product for them and did everything they needed. The phones are durable and have lasted fine since Christmas. A few days ago my son washed his. We laid the phone out and allowed it to dry with the battery out. Then plugged it in. After getting a new sim card for the phone it works great. I was amazed the phone worked perfectly after going through the washing machine.

JUST WHAT WE NEEDED
HATE THE NEW PHONES WITH TOO MUCH STUFF ON THEM AND SMALL BUTTONS. THIS IS A PAY AS YOU GO PHONE, BUT WE THREW OUT THE "PAY AS YOU GO CARD' AND INSTALLED OUR ATT CARD. MY WIFE LOVES IT AND I DO ALSO. A GREAT BUY IF YOU HAVE LARGE FINGERS AND WANT A SIMPLE PHONE. CHEAP ALSO. WILL BUY A SECOND ONE SOON. SEEMS TO BE VERY STURDY.
