BEST home highlighter for brunette.
it feels and looks just perfect when you are looking for soft maple/honey balayage.

Go to salon for highlights instead.
I followed directions and it still turned my hair orange.

Orange hair!
I have previously used other brands of products to highlight my medium brown hair. Sadly, this product turned my hair orange, and did not blend well, leaving me stark roots. Very disappointed.

Great product!
I thought this was a great product! I would compare it to L’Oréal ombré which I think is being discontinued. There was plenty of product to achieve the look I was going for. It’s subtle, but if you want more a more intense look, apply it heavier and leave on for 45 minutes. I bought the brunette. Would buy again.

Easy if you research a lot first
Highlighting brunette hair at home is tricky - very often you'll end up with an orangey or reddish shade - especially on previously colored hair. I color my hair regularly due to grays. It's very important to do a strand test first, as directed. I did and found that I needed to do the max amount of time to get the lightness I wanted without orange. Then I did just "babylights" - very thin strands - so my DIY wouldn't come out looking DIY! I do not trust a home job for any more than that, or to try to get fancy with ombre. Ya gotta know your limitations!A tip - buy some anti-brass purple-toning conditioner to keep your highlights from getting brassy as they fade. Another tip - to keep your hair from getting damaged by the bleach, get some Olaplex conditioner (Costco sells a two-pack).

Beware this is more of a red highlight and not the colour shown.
I’ve used product twice now so was aware that I would not get the darker blonde highlights that it shows in the photo. The first time I used it it gave me red highlights and I was ok with that even though it was not what I was hoping for. The second time I used it I followed the directions that say if your getting a brassy red tone leave the product on longer to lighten to shown colour. I did that not exceeding the max time and my hair was almost completely auburn red when it was originally medium brown with the reddish highlights from before. I’m probably going to have to go to the hairdresser to get the red stripped right out of my hair now.

Amazing product
I read the reviews on this product before buying it and most of them were pretty bad. But I decided to give it a go. The packaging is really nice, simple instructions and the hair conditioner inside is very very good! My hair turned out the color I wanted which was very light brown in the first 10 minutes! Also my hair was already dyed black but it worked perfectly anyways! I am so satisfied and thank you

Not horrible
I wouldn't recommend this product. It's definitely not horrible but I don't feel that it gave me what I had hoped for. I was using this just to touch up my highlights that I had previously had. I only left it in for maybe half an hour Max and they gave me this yellowish tone.

Don't bother
It didn't do anything. I followed the instructions exactly, left it in for 45 minutes, and it didn't color any.Very disappointed.

I should have known better
I should have known better...turned my hair orange. I have dark brown hair. Might be better suited for lighter hair. Should have saved my money for the salon....
