I’ve had two, both died. It will quit on your very quickly. Starts off strong but it will fail.

Saw this wine opener at a friend's house. Bought it around a month ago and find it to be a fantastic opener. Extremely easy to use. My wife loves it. Absolutely no problems opening and then removing the cork from both the bottle and the opener screw. I especially had real difficulties using all types of other corkscrews when dealing with the corks that consisted of man-made, dense cork material. This opener handles these "corks" in stride. Just hope the opener lasts for a long, long time.

This worked great for about a month, but then - even when fully charged (always kept plugged in and on the base), it struggled to keep going long enough to get a cork out. We quit using it for a few weeks, but left it charging. Eventually, it stopped and groaned before even halfway into a cork. I have 4 friends with similar openers, and they all still work great after 1-2 years. I should have asked what brand they had before purchasing. This is awful!

Customer service is fantastic! Item would not charge and the company sent a replacement right away. Finally a company that cares 👏

I was so pleased to get the electric wine opener. It is sleet looking and doubled as a beautiful nightlight in my kitchen. Unfortunately it has quit pulling the corks out . The blue light works, the retractable part seems to be functioning but it no longer pull the cork out. I have only had it 1 1/2 months. So sad that it is not durable.Company has agreed to either refund my money or replace it. I have chosen to have it replaced because it is really a neat product. They were really cooperative about solving the issue too.

I've only used this electric corkscrew a few times, but so far it has worked flawlessly. Opening a bottle of wine doesn't get any easier! It's plenty powerful when fully charged and looks great on my kitchen countertop. My only complaint is with the blue flashing light when it is being charged -- so irritating that I'm deducting one star from my rating. (Note: Once fully charged, the blue light stops flashing and morphs into a rather nice solid blue light.)

Started out ok for the first few bottles. Then the corkscrew wouldn't stay centered on the cork. Would start on the center, then wander to the side through the side of the cork, scraping the neck of the bottle. Usually jams up and must be retracted to start over. Wish I'd returned it when this first started happening. Too late now.UPDATE: EZBASICS stands behind what they sell. Very quick response to my problem. Quick replacement. I highly recommend them.Update: The replacement didn't last very long. Doesn't have enough power/battery to open even 1 bottle. I keep it on the charger. Charger stays on only 2-3 minutes. I quite using it a few months ago.

This won't hold a charge. The first several times I used it, it was great. I think the charger turns off when fully charged, then drains as it sits for a few days and won't work again. If I put it back on the charger, the charging light comes on for a few seconds, then shuts off. It usually quits working about a third of the way to the cork releasing, then quits and we have to pry the cork out of the bottle. I got so frustrated, I threw it away.
