Vestax VES-HANDYTRAXUSBBLK Handy Trax, Black

Until I settle down and invest in high quality stereo components, the Handy Trax is my new best friend. Lightweight and cleverly designed, this turntable is easy to set up and connect to external speakers, receiver, or computer. Sound quality is excellent with my late model Altec Lansing speakers and not bad using the internal set. Pitch and tone controls set this apart from other portables I have investigated. The included software makes satisfying digital copies of my parents' records, allowing me to curate the family vinyl and provide them with digital files for use on their devices. Between battery, USB, and, AC adapter power options, there are few situations in which this needle can't drop.

Its a great little turntable but unfortunately there was no product key for the Ez-Rok software included inside. I understand that Vestax went out of business, but one of the main reasons I purchased this portable USB player was to digitize some of samples from my vinyl collection. A'ole STOKYO!

Excellent portable turntable. Reliable, small, and good sound quality for such a small device. Vestax makes neat electronics :)

Had this turntable for about a month and its come in very handy for scouring record stores for hidden gems. Haven't tried the USB function yet though.

Il noto giradischi portatile di Vestax è per molti un 'must have' e ha certamente punti di forza, ma altrettante aree di miglioramento... Stabilità e precisione nella lettura dei solchi, molto più di quanto all'aspetto ci si potrebbe aspettare, buon suono in relazione al costo (buon suono se prelevato dall'uscita cuffia e/o dalle uscite rca, decisamente scadente se ascoltato attraverso l'altoparlante integrato) e materiali plastici di qualità modestina; un fastidioso ronzio di fondo si innesca con la rotazione del piatto, vieppù evidente all'aumentare del volume, per fortuna questo risulta spesso coperto dal suono, ma dipende ovviamente dal tipo di traccia che si ascolta...Oltre 130€ sono assolutamente il limite di spesa sostenibile per un oggetto simile.
