You are buying an aftermarket part made by Maymom, not by the original Dao Health Company who has brought the Freemie hand free milk connection cups to you. The Maymom Valve replacements for Freemie Collection Cups (sold separately) are spare parts for lost, worn out or damaged valves for Freemie Hands Free, Concealable Collection Cups. Valves that appear to be wide open in a relaxed state, or torn, may contribute to milk backing up in tubing and/or decreased or ineffective suction, and should be replaced. With proper care, valves should last for two months or more with regular use. Disclaimer: Maymom is an independent company. Freemie is a trademark of Dao Health. These are great quality and a great value!
These are amazing! I saw a post about putting them on my medela- they worked awesome! These are very strong silicone and have great suction power I noticed a difference right away! Great thing is they also fit my Freemie pump cups! I highly suggest getting these even if you just leave them in your pump bag as a back up! I love the hard plastic case they come in also! It helps keep the valve in good shape during travel.

Works well for Open (aka Freemie cups to use with other brand pumps)
These work with Freemie cups meant to be used with other pumps- like Medela (what Freemie calls Open). They are longer as you can see in the picture. However, if you turn them sideways like Freemie says to do anyway, they will fit. If you turn them 90 degrees, they will hit the bottom of the cup. These will NOT fit the closed Freemie cups for the Freemie pump.

DEFECTIVE??
I purchased these years ago for my Freemie cups and LOVED the whole idea, used them for over a year and never had any issues. Well, I just purchased these replacement parts when I had my 3rd baby bc I wanted to use the Freemie cups again, just way too convenient and makes pumping that much easier for me. Well, I don't know if what I received was defective or the wrong product or what but almost immediately milk went through my tubes and ALL THE WAY TO MY BRAND NEW PUMP. Pumps are NOT cheap so I was NOT happy about this. It seems like the valves don't open enough to let the milk through so it goes back up into the tubing. I tried again 3 more times while watching (to be sure milk didn't make it to my pump again) to see if I could figure out what the problem is but I'm still not 100% sure. I am so disappointed bc using the normal pump cones is nowhere near as convenient as the Freemies....but it is what it is I suppose.

Be Careful at First
When I first received it, put it on my pump and I had no suction, finally got suction to work and my milk was backing up. Turns out the hole in this was sealed shut. Not sure if it came like that, or melted closed in the heat during shipment but once I was able to create the slit in it these worked great.

Look different,
I’ve been using these for a week now, and am happy with the quality. Yes, they look significantly different than the original duckbills from freemie, but they do work. I bought mine as a replacement for worn out valves, and use my feeemie system with a Medela pump in style. When installed at the 90 degree angle outlined in the freemie manual, these duckbills work identically to the originals. They will not touch the side of the cup or backflow if used correctly. I have to guess that the others with unhappy reviews were possibly not installing the pieces correctly.

Outstanding little suckers!
I am a repeat customer. I'm approaching my first full year of breastfeeding/ pumping and honestly I wish I would have found these sooner. They have been the perfect buddy to my freemie cups which I use eight to ten times a day. They last me an average of three months. Great product! I like them better than the super expensive spectra name brand. I still LOVE my spectra s1 machine though. Replacement parts are just killer. Maymom makes it a lot easier on the pocket while providing an outstanding product.Pun intended. Lol.

Not that great
I bought these to replace the original ones on my freemie cups they do not work the greatest. They are larger then the freemie ones also the suction is not as strong.

Good
Last longer than valve and membrane. Need to be perfectly dry before use or it falls off mid pump. Used on my Medela swing.
