APIPOND CHLORINE & HEAVY METAL NEUTRALIZER Pond Water Neutralizer 16-Ounce Bottle

I have been using this product for some time to dechorionize my fishpond and it seems to work well.

I use this to treat my koi pond and aquarium whenever I add water. I have never had any issues in nearly 5 years of use. I've gone through about 2 bottles, but don't take that the wrong way. I actually have to use very little of this product when I refill my pond. However, when I flush the filtration system, I lose a lot of water, and therefore I use this product often. I have about a 900 gallon pond. I have read a couple of reviews where people have stated they lost fish. I don't know how or why that happened, but it could be from an inaccurate pond volume. Don't overdose your fish with anything. An accurate pond volume is so important for adding any chemical to your pond.

I buy this for our 55gal aquarium and dilute it, way more cost effective than buying the already diluted stuff.

Very beneficial when cleaning and changing my small pond. Chlorine shock is bad news.

Product is okay. It's not the strongest substance in the world to get rid of algae. It's always risky with shipping cuz sometimes the white protector pops off and you lose some of it. But Amazon replaced it for me.

I should have read the description of the dosing more carefully. I'm laughing at myself because I bought this to neutralize the water I use to water my plants....and if I did the math correctly and if AI can be trusted, I'll only need to use 2 DROPS of this solution per gallon of water. The bottle will last a LONG long time at this rate, which is great. But I probably would have been ok with one of the less concentrated options.

The media could not be loaded. This product takes the chlorine & heavy metals out of the water that are dangerous to your fish. You must remove chlorine from the water to keep your fish alive. This bottle will last me all summer and my fish are happy & healthy!

This product is great!!! I am due to purchase a second bottle!! Ok, second bottle arrived today. Frequently, I do partial water changes during the season. When opening the pond in the Spring, if the water is green, I simple drain the pond down leaving only about 2 inches of water. I then fill the pond with hose water. I add the required amount of API Pondcare Chlorine and Heavy Metal Neutralizer for my size pond.Also, if anytime during the season the algae is getting ahead of me. I again do a water change, as it may not be safe for the fish during high air temperatures to use Algae Fix. Algae products lower the oxygen in the pond making for dangerous conditions for fish. It is so easy to just do a water change and use API Pondcare Chlorine and Heavy Metal Neutralizer. This product is an absolute necessity if you don't want your fish to die. Also be sure to add some API Pondcare EcoFix. No need to buy a ton of different products... These two products will help to keep your pond clean and healthy. Only on rare occasions do I buy additional products, but I buy these two products every year! Never any problems only great results for the past 25 years. Happy ponding!
