PCP Replacement Toilet Seat and Splash Guard for PCP 7007

This is a complete replacement for the seat and the splash guard. I had to replace the one we had been using because the splash guard had broken. Replacing the seat and splash guard is a good reason to really clean the frame. Be warned you'll need a drill and an 1/8 inch bit. You could use an awl if you had too. Wear disposable gloves. Even though this is the correct replacement the manufacturer did not mold in the screw holes. To make it easy you'll need at least two clamps to hold the seat to the frame, then drill or punch the starter holes for the screws (you have to use the old screws, they don't give you new ones) and be really careful not to do more than just puncher the plastic or you could damage the sitting surface. Screw the screws in by HAND don't use a driver our you will strip out the holes. It took me about 10 minutes to change out the seat. Oh, and have a garbage bag ready for the old seat and splash guard.The Raised Toilet Seat made life much easier for my father and is much sturdier than the grab handles that bolt to the toilet seat. These are well made units and I'm glad I was able to get one for my father.

The product is very good,but was disappointed that there were no pilot hole matches for our base in the attachment. After looking at broken seat I saw that it in fact did not match holes either. I drilled pilot holes and all finally worked out.

Purchased this replacement toilet seat for my mom. When I initially purchased the entire handicap seat with handles, the splash guard was somewhat flimsy and was held by only 2 screws, which is why it began to crack after her having it for one year. The new replacement seat and splash guard has improved since now it is held together with 4 screws, allowing it to remain in place much better. However, when installing it, there were no markers indicating where to enter the screws in. You had to make your own entry holes by screwing the screws through the plastic. Other than that, it's better.

Horrible, screw holes don’t line up to attach to handles. There are not new screws included. I had to go purchase new screws because the old ones were rusted and unusable.Impossible for me to drill holes into hard resin to attach seat to handles. I have one screw in and it’s not straight and a safety hazard, but my 88 yr old mother had to have something to use after her surgery . I will buy another brand of seat w handles for her. I do not recommend this seat.They only positive was that it arrived earlier than the initial ship date stated.

This seat is great when new. But the plastic under the seat splits and comes apart too easily.

A pain to install. Product should come with new (sheet metal) screws! Horrible to have reuse screws.The holes in this seat did not align with the chair.

After modifying the attachment system this replacement splash guard lasted 16 months. I added screws and washers, but the molding process that they use leaves very, very thin plastic between the downward "guard" part and the horizontal attachment flange. I'm ordering another one because it's a bit of an emergency, but, after that, I'll order a new seat for my mother-in-law and not from this company.
