So far so good
This seems to be working fine so far. I’m using it to maintain the starting battery on a generator. After a few sunny days, the voltage on my battery was higher than it started with. I’m using a very small solar panel so it hasn’t yet topped off the battery and kicked into float mode. The only minor complaint is that the red led is on all the time, which makes it a minor parasitic current draw at night when there is no charging occuring.

Solar controller for a radio repeater go box
I built a portable radio repeater that has a sealed lead cell battery plus the necessary repeater electronics housed in a Pelican case and kept charged by a solar panel. This little unit is the heart of the power system side and keeps the battery charged and the repeater working. It's been up now for thirty five days and the battery is fine as are the repeater radio guts. I've doubled the distance the basic radios could send and receive from so all in all it's great.

Does the job !
Installed with 20 watt solar panel, to keep deep cycle battery on my camper charged while at storage lot. We camp once a month in summer, it does the job, battery is fully charged every time I go to pick up camper.

Item just put to use.
Seems like the type of item I needed to control a solar panel to charge a 6 volt battery. Impossible to truely evaluate product at this time. Will be able to give a better eval. in about 6 months after I see if it performs to specs.

It works very well.
My boat batteries were not getting fully charged so I purchased a solar panel and this controller and have had no further low battery charge issues.

Didn't even keep the battery topped off! POS!
Installed this "charge controller" to maintain my RV batteries. It was connected to a 50 watt monocrystalline panel. The batteries were fully charged and read 13.2 volts on the meter. I expected this to keep the battery topped off in float charge. Even in 100% sunlight for 7.5 hours each day, when I check the batteries two days later they read 12.4 volts and the charger did not show float but showed equalization. I have the battery disconnected via the battery disconnect switch so there was very little drain on the battery itself. Requested a refund which was granted but I have to pay return shipping for $14 that's not worth it. Save yourself the money and buy something reputable

Easy to Install
Connected to solar panels to charge boat battery. Worked immediately. Don't know if it's waterproof yet as it has not rained, but morning dew has not bothered it. Called customer support with a question and they responded within an hour.
