PowerMate Vx 031-0094RP 90-Degree Right Check Valve

I previously posted incorrect information about this product.It works well and the ports do get checked when flow stops, which serves the pilot correctly for Compressor pressure switch. This stops the bleed in the pilot and prevents air loss. IF it is not connected to this check, the switch will continue to bleed air when pressure is satisfied.This is a good value and will work well to replace your check valve eliminating tee and other fittings this will replace.

Installed on my 10 year old toolshop 8 gallon compressor. Had to pretty much re-plumb it to do it. The compressor had 10 mm tubing from cylinder to original check valve so it was too large for this valve and the smaller 1/4 inch tubing had a flare at the end but I was able to cut small amounts off each end and was able to re-use it. No fault of this check valve but just something you may want to keep in mind. That 10 mm tubing measured about .390" . Also the threads on the old checkvalve were metric also and this check valve it's standard . same with the right angle fitting that was in the cylinder so I had to get a 3/8" fitting for that. If you happen to install this and then get a small leak out of the cylinder relief valve (not sure of the terminology...small valve that goes psh for about 1 second after the compressor has finished pumping up...takes pressure off the cylinder) it means most likely a little bit of crap has gotten into the check valve so it can't seal completely. That happened to mine. I took that cap off the check valve and there was a small piece of debris that was just barely allowing the check valve to stay open so I could here air just slightly leaking out that relief valve. After cleaning the check valve I'd say it's working properly. I pumped the compressor to 120 lbs and in a weeks time it's dropped 20 lbs but I don't think it's leaking at the check valve. The check valve is very well made solid brass. It's pretty much a have to have item and it has to work properly on any air compressor and this check valve does.

This worked great for my Harbor Freight compressor, I broke the original one when replacing the compressor head and needed a replacement. Have not had problems in the last year since installing.

This is a checkvalve for an air compressor.mine was made out of cast aluminum and fel apart. when I went to replace it I was told it was an illegal part in the U.S. . Yours is made of brass and very leagle I am very satisfied with the product and estatic I received it in two days. Nobody else even could get it. This was ordered for me by the compressor repair person at Home Depot on my phone. yours is brass and

I basically just used the insides of this to repair the faulty insides on the one on my compressor. The internal parts replaced badly worn parts and the compressor is up and running no problems. I was going to replace the complete unit but this was much easier and really the only thing that was really worn and needing replaced.

The part looked perfect and had it been the part in the description it would've been perfect. It was meant to replace 21 gal harbor freight check valve. It looked to be equal quality to the original four what that's worth. (The original was damaged due to a brain fart on my part, not due to poor quality of the part itself.) However the part I received had to have been metric. I checked at local hardware stores for fittings to make it work and the check valve and the only part that fit anything was the 1/2" npt. The other two fittings weren't npt, flare or compression fittings. Refund process was much simpler than I expected so guess I'll try again and hope I get the correct part next time. If not I'll definitely be lowering the stars

With minor modification it worked well to get my Harbor Freight compressor working.

Fixed my ages old HF air compressor when stock valve disintegrated after 10 or so years. Perfect fit and inexpensive. Also, this one is made out of brass and will last forever.

One of the few check valves that actually advertise the correct sizing on the ports…works beautifully!

I replaced a broken valve on my 2hp 5 gallons compressor work as described and brass instead of white metal very pleased with the product

The item appears to be well made but the threading on the 2 top ports did not fit my compressor. Here's the good news...I was able to unscrew the large hex nut and recover the return spring inside...so I was able to fit the new spring into my old valve and make it work again.
