Amazon Basics Professional Liquid Laundry Detergent, 1 Gallon, 4-Pack

I wanted to try this AmazonBasics laundry detergent because my family runs 3-4 loads a week to wash dirty baby clothes and workout clothes. It works like a charm and the price is unbeatable.The four gallons last a long time. We use the regular spin cycle with warm water on a top loading Speed Queen washer in our condo building. The recommended 1-2 oz for top loading machines is pretty accurate, and even for really dirty baby clothes I use about 2 oz.I’ve tested this detergent on cotton baby onesies with raspberry stains, soiled sleepers and sheets from the baby’s crib, high-performance workout clothes, and hiking socks with gross red dirt stains. We’ve also done larger loads of bed linens and towels. All good!As another reviewer mentioned, the scent is light without being overpowering. Clothes smell light and fresh after washes. What a nice surprise! I am very particular about laundry detergent because our baby has fair, sensitive skin, but we’ve never had a problem with this AmazonBasics.This is an excellent product. It reliably does the job, leaves clothes smelling nice & clean, and four gallons last forever at a great price. Highly recommend!

I love the value and quality of Amazon Basic products. They are almost always a hit with our family and I’m glad they got into household consumables. I've been using our HE front-loading washer with about 1.5oz of detergent, everything came out fresh and clean with normally soiled adult and children’s clothing. Whites looked bright, colors not faded, exactly what you would want from a great detergent. I also used the same amount on a nasty dog bed with all kinds of grossness. The cover came out smelling great and previously discolored spots look much better. I especially liked that there wasn’t an overpowering smell after the clothes were washed. Lastly, I have to say that I really enjoyed not having to lug a heavy bottle of detergent home from the store!

We have a standard deep water washer and an efficiency front load washer. I used a medicine cup to measure out 4 tsp for the front loader. This amount washed the clothes very well, left them clean smelling and fully rinsed. I used a little more for the deep washer(up to the 1 on the standard laundry measuring cup), since I wash more soiled items in it. Again, the clothes were clean and smelled good. I liked the cleaning performance of this detergent. The fragrance is clean and not overpowering. I would recommend this product, and in fact I told my daughter to buy it for her front loader.

Good product not crazy about the smell but it cleans well. I feel like most people would like this one just not for me. Great delivery, great soap, and good price. Buy a little if you like the smell go for bulk.

I find the cleaning power to be mediocre. but I find the smell horrible !!my clothes smell like I got them out of a stinky Laundromat.my clothes smell like Stink. moldy. old. left in the washer too long.will not buy again.gave 2 away. feel sorry for the person.

The product is great for washing all types of clothes. The liquid has blue coloring...not sure of the purpose. The scent is not pleasant and reminds me of a cheap floral all purpose cleaner. I am returning the product because of the scent and color.
