I might sound like a moron for saying this, but how do you put this costume together? I need instructions :(

The pants you put on like anything else, Then start by putting the dark brown shirt layer on. From there, put on the tan tunic. With the two tan stalls drape one over each shoulder. Everything should be kind of wrapped around you like a bath robe. Secure the previous steps with the tan belt and the put the leather belt around that. Put on cloak like a bath robe if desired. Put on your choice of boots and tuck excess material from pants into boots. It can be a little cumbersome to to keep everything together, so I added velcro on mine in certain areas and then it was all fine. Safety pins are a viable substitute if you don't want to buy any velcro.

what does the costume come with?

Mine came with a brown short sleeve shirt, brown pants, a white long sleeve 3/4 length shirt, a long brown hooded robe, two long white pieces to drop over shoulders, a short white sash for the waist and a brown leather like utility belt. It all fit great, I added two pieces of velcro to the utility belt though to make it fit right.

Does it come with pants

Yes. And the pants are very well made. They have a zipper, a button, belt loops, and even pockets!
