Q: Says in one pp that it does not contain magnesium and then in the ingredient list it says contains magnesium citrate. Which is right?

Thorne does not utilize unnecessary excipients as manufacturing aids, such as magnesium stearate, a fatty acid, that can inhibit absorption. Thorne’s Alpha-Lipoic Acid contains a small amount of magnesium citrate as a manufacturing aid, but it is not enough magnesium to have a therapeutic effect, which is why it is listed in the Other Ingredients section.
