Discovering Bigfoot
B**T
The trees snapped above the head reminds me of something I went through.
What got me was trees snapped above your head. Reminds me of when I was about 13 or 14 in New Brunswick, Canada where my dad's truckstop was along with a motel. There was a road to the Power Lines behind the hotel about 2 maybe 2 1/2 miles away. Wild Raspberries grew not that far past those Power Lines, and I was going to pick some. Very hot and sunny day and no wind at all. I must have walked that road about 400 times....maybe more. On that particular day, I'm walking and hear a loud snap like something stepped on a large tree branch. I stopped, listened, and heard nothing else. I continued on past a a dozen bends to get to those Raspberries. While returning down the first hill from The Power Lines, I hear another loud snap, but it seemed further away. The one lane dirt road was like packed mud where tires of a truck would follow and grass growing in the middle. A few stones in the ruts, but that was it. I continued down the hill around the first bend quietly. I'm thinking a bear or something large it out there. I come around a few more bends in the road, and notice a tree going across the road that wasn't there before. I walked slowly up to it. It was about 6" to 7" in diameter. I wrestled with that tree for a good half hour just to make it parallel the road. Back and forth, back and forth. After I was done, I started walking again, and I hear another snap pretty close. I didn't look, slow down, or anything like that. I started walking fast almost running. past the next few bends to go up behind the field behind the motel that was behind my dad's truckstop that my aunt ran. All I'm thinking about is a bear, and that I was thirsty after eating a bunch of Raspberries. I'm 50 years old today, and Todd trying to break that tree reminds me of that day. Was it a Bigfoot? I don't know, but it didn't scare me as much as the day I was on 10 Speed coming around a bend on that same road, and I spooked a bear that turned around and stood up. You have no idea how much it hurts to spin a 10 Speed around while your still on it. Oh...I peddled as hard as I could, looked back, and the bear didn't follow. People didn't talk about Bigfoot when I was a kid. I always thought it was a joke until the day I learned that The Patterson film was filmed in 1967. Heck, they couldn't make a good Space Sci-Fi Movie in The 70ties and early 80ties apart from Star Wars. Look for tracks? Hell no! I was a young kid. As for Todd Standing's Film...Definitely not a Gorilla's Face. Could have done without the re-enactments though.

It's Todd Standing...
It's Todd Standing, so take it with a grain of salt... Video is well made. Content is debatable depending if you're a Todd Standing fan or not. Still up in the air on the validity of the content. And yes, I am not a skeptic on the topic. Worth watching.

GOOD BIGFOOT MOVIE
DONE AS A DOCUMENTARY--TODD STANDING GOES OUT TO THE WOODS OF BC TO SHOW US THAT BIGFOOT IS REAL AND HE HAS CAPTURED PROOF. WITH PICTURES AND VIDEOS OF FOOTPRINTS, VIDEOTAPING BIGFOOT CALLS AND HAVING BIGFOOT THROW A TREE AT HIM ON CAMERA TO VIDEOTAPING MANY DIFFERENT TIMES WHERE HE HAS SEEN BIGFOOT. HE DOESN'T WANT TO KILL BIGFOOT, JUST CAPTURE EVIDENCE THAT BIGFOOT IS OUT THERE--HE ALSO BRINGS PROCLAIMED SKEPTICS WHO HEAR AND SEE HIS CAPTURING OF EVIDENCE-AND THEY CLAIM THAT THEY CAN'T EXPLAIN WHAT THEY HEAR AND SEE EITHER...DECIDE FOR YOURSELF. I LIKED IT.

Interesting movie, but not convincing enough for me.
The movie is quite interesting to me as a skeptic who wants to believe. His narration seem a little over the top many times and comes off as if he's trying way too hard to convince the viewers, instead of just presenting the evidence and letting the viewers decide on their own. My biggest problem is Todd claiming to be a very experience woodsman, tracker, etc..., but yet he doesn't seem to know of the existence of a thing call a trail camera! He repeatedly leaves apples for the Sasquatch and the following day discover they are gone. Well, it would've been nice if he put a few trail cameras around the apples to prove that it was a Sasquatch that took it or was it something else. That just seem like such an OBVIOUS thing to do that it makes me very suspicious of why it was not done. Many reviewers say his other videos are totally fake looking. I wouldn't go that far. It may or may not be real, hard to tell with these out of focus and shaky videos. Not to mention, with today's video editing abilities almost anything can be made to look real.If you're interested in Big Foot (and who isn't), then I think it's a good movie to watch. Just don't expect to find 100% proof of the existence of Big Foot here.

I have some questions and apprehensions, but many good pieces of evidence.
I do struggle with Todd Standing. He is over the top, his ego is huge, but I think some of his research is strong and valid. I think Dr. Jeff Meldrum struggles with him as well.I have a hard time with those close up faces. They really do seem like masks to me, but so much of the evidence presented also seems so valid that I guess I can take or leave the faces for now.I'm a Bigfoot believer, so I usually find myself believing much of what I see, but with a healthy dose of skepticism. Todd's documentary in my view certainly walks that fine line, so I can't say either way if it's valid or not.In any case, this is an entertaining film. If you have any interest in Bigfoot research, do watch this film.

It's different
I watched this after stumbling across survivorman Bigfoot and being somewhat impressed with both Les and Todd's approach to finding bigfoot. I'm kind of on the fence about the footage of the first two bigfoot Todd showed. To me, they seem too well groomed and clean to be a wild man of the woods, and they seem alot more apelike and less humanlike than they are usually described. I don't know what to think on those. I do think Todd has some great points he has brought up. Had I not been following survivorman Bigfoot first then I would probably not have taken this seriously. And at least it's a different approach and not the same ole same ole.

BRAVO!
The author is the only one willing to take on the Government of Canada to protect Bigfoot from the savage people who want to find and kill one to make a million to prove they exist.
