No! I had one of these. I really loved it but it got wrecked from doing that.

would this work for camping with a portable air pump or does it need to be plugged into an outlet to inflate?

There isn't a spot for a portable air pump so it needs plugged into an outlet. It is a very durable bed and could handle camping....just have to inflate before you head out.

The seller will charge you $22.00 to return it. That is half the price of the airbed. READ THE SELLERS RETURN POLICY

Does the electrical pump support 220v?

The manual specifies 110-120v only.
