Q: Since the Pfanni dumplings box we got is all in German, can someone tell us how to prepare them in English?

Der Pfanni Knoedel. Put the dumplings in a pot with cold water. Bring it to a boil; cook on low heat for about 10 Min. (on the pack of the package is a time frame). Take the dumplings out of the pot and rinse them with cold water; remove the wrapping and serve right away. Make a test with one Knoedel. Malzeit. Best with Pot Roast or Sauerbraten Gravy, Rotkohl and a German Beer Aloha from /hawaii

Q: Are these similar to the Panni (not Pfanni) dumplings which are normally less than $4 a box? Why are these so expensive?

They are like Panni, I can not get Panni anywhere anymore I've tried.. My family likes these though

Description says a mix, but picture says 6 Knodel in Kochbeuteln. What I got was 6 dumplings in bags, not a mix.

I agree with you. Panni has gone out of business and I couldn't find it anywhere. I really like the panni over the pfanni any day.
