Tried but my rug kept moving, yet the grip was great against the carpet. I ended up switching this to my rug and it solved the problem, my rug hardy moves now.

I’ve bought this for three rugs and it always works and gives peace of mind. I’ve tried other rug grips but nothing works like this and it still works if you move home as I did this year. With a 90 year old living in a house you don’t want rugs to slip and with this they won’t, don’t buy anything else.

Underlay easy to fit on rug which was previously always on the move. Now stays put and is no longer a trip hazard.

I made a doormat out of a carpet offcut, to be used on the same carpet. This slightly sticky underlay works perfectly in stopping the doormat from moving. After 2 weeks the doormat hasn't moved even a millimetre.

I did try cheaper alternatives but they didn’t work. This worked for my rug on new carpet flooring. For me it was worth paying extra to get something that works.

I've waited a couple of weeks before making this recommendation, just to be sure. But there's been no slippage whatever. Why did I put up so long with another product that allowed the rug to go all over the place? This one works, it's easy to fit, and it's worth every penny. Delivery was quick and efficient too.

I have tried several things to stop my heavy rug from moving on the short pile carpet that I have but have finally found the answer in this product.Very easy to cut to size using sharp scissors to make sure you have the gap all around the rug once down.You do need to make sure you have it and the rug in the exact position you want it in though as once it is down you can't easily tweak it, especially if your rug is big and or heavyThe rug has been hoovered, walked on, and been shuffled and rolled on by the dog and it has not moved at all.Overall I cannot fault it. Just follow the instructions given with the product and take your time putting it down.UPDATE: Been down for a year and still as perfect as my first review. The rug has not moved at all, absolutely great as I have an old back injury so bending to constantly move a rug back into place is now not needed thanks to this product
