Very good door, not perfect, glad I bought it
I knew going in that this might be a tight fit for my back door and I was right. My door was just slightly smaller than the minimum height recommended. The track on my door was about 1/8-1/4 inch too high so I had to get my angle grinder and cut off about 1/4 inch from the top piece. Easy enough. After that it fit perfect. If your door is within spec this should be pretty much plug and play for you. Some small issues I experienced:1. the bolts that hold the 2 pieces together aren't flat so they create a small gap when you put the weather stripping over them. Would have been better to use counter sink bolts.2. I bought the medium size door and it works great for my cats and terrier, but not my chihuahua. The bottom of the door is about 4-6 inches off the ground and he's just too short to get over it. Something to keep in mind if you have a short dog. I'm going to use something for steps or maybe put some kind of ramp there for him.3. My door is severely out of square so there was a pretty big gap between the weather strip and my door. I had to use a dremel and sand off quite a bit of weather strip near the top and down towards the middle to get it flush w/ the door. I was hoping to be able to find some weather strip that wasn't so dense and would compress easily but didn't have any luck at walmart or lowes. Wasn't too bad but there was quite a bit of cleanup after. Unless your door is perfectly square you might run into a similar issue.4. No matter how hard I try there's just no way for me to get the weather strip close/tight enough to close all the gaps around the edges. Not a big deal in the spring/fall, but could be more of a big deal in the middle of summer/winter. Right now for me (January 2023 in Cali) it's not too bad but I can still feel a very slight draft of cold air. If you live somewhere where there's extreme cold you might be impacted more. Those were the biggest issues for me. Other than that the door is easy enough to install and my cats love it. Funny enough, my terrier still doesn't know he can let himself out/in, but my cats learned almost right away. Seems like my chihuahua knows how to use it but he's just too short. And I love it because now I don't have to leave the door open anymore, which will help keep the bugs (especially mosquitos!) out.Not sure what I'm going to do this summer. I like to keep my window open as much as possible and use the AC as little as possible, so I might have to keep switching it between the screen track and glass door track. I didn't test it out on the screen track so I'm hoping it'll even fit there, I'll find out soon enough.Overall, glad I got it, price wasn't too bad, easy enough for me to modify to get it to fit, would recommend. Oh and no drilling too so that was a plus.

Happy bunnies, happy life
My two bunnies love this thing! The flap is well fitted to the frame. I had to buy extra weather stripping to make the winter comfortable. Once that got sorted out and the buns got their freedom, it really made our household much happier :)

What a Perfect Solution!
Just put this in a week ago and am LOVING it. What a great product!I was looking for a way to have a pet door that didn't involve a lengthy, costly, permanent, and professional installation. Before buying this item, I tried a cheap plastic clip-in pet door for my patio screen, which was too stiff and hard for my cat to open (he complain-meowed and refused to go through it), so I decided to invest up into this item, and am really glad I did! The vinyl flap is soft on his head and swings open with ease. My cat figured out the clear flap after a few treats and pawing at it, and although he's a princess who would rather a human open the door for him, now uses it to go in and out regularly without us.The flap has a metallic bottom to close itself via a magnet on the frame, too -- great design (so far, at least, and we will see how well it works with time). The cat previously tore a hole in our patio's screen door to get outside (the little bugger!) and we were getting tons of mosquitos indoors as a result, biting us and our guests, buzzing by our ears when we were trying to sleep; it was terrible. This thing works like a charm: no mosquitos to report since installing it, whoo hoo!Looks very nice and fits perfectly with the style of my standard patio door! The embossed seal on the flap itself is a classy touch, too. I do wish there were more color options at this price point (the bronze and silver ones were more expensive when I was shopping), though I suppose it being white means I could paint it if I have the wherewithall someday. I also wish I could turn it around, because I think the inside-facing pane does not look as good as the outside-facing one, but the instructions say specifically not to do so (doesn't say why) -- the flap's plastic cover and frame look cheaper than the rest of the door, but it's not terrible and probably only noticeable to the picky installer :)The only other thing to note is that, obviously, the screen door does not slide against it, so there is this weird gap whenever you want to have just a screen door open for fresh air.I was impressed with how incredibly simple, adjustable, and easy it was to install. Again, great design. Also, the video is super helpful!FYI, I live up on the 4th floor of a nice condo complex, and so do not have any worries about locking this door or other animals getting in. Your mileage may vary.So glad I invested in this! Wish I had gone this route first instead of trying other cheap fixes!

Solved The Problem
Our dog like to go sit in the Florida room and watch people and other dogs walk by. We keeping the door open about 6 inches all day so he could go in an out as he pleased, but this let a lot of hot air in. When it came it was a few inches too tall, I used an aluminum cutting blade in my chop saw to shorten it. We installed it on the opposite end, between the fixed window panel and the frame making it a little more permanent. I am happy with the quality and style. He still doesn't like the flap so we took it off and we'll put it back on in a few days after he gets familiar with it.
