This is a great blanket. My daughter is 5 feet tall and 105 lbs, and says this is perfectly weighted. She falls asleep quickly with this blanket and loves the feel. The price was great as well.

I got this to help soothe anxiety and with my sleep, and so far it’s been amazing.The fabric is soft to the touch without being slippery so if some of the weight is off the edge of the bed, it’s not hauling the whole thing off. It sits against other bedding nicely. I got the twin despite having a king bed so I could focus the weight and keep it on my side. I can also toss and turn on the bed enough that I can get out from under it without having to kick the covers off to get free.I was thinking I wanted to get a heavier weight before reading that it’s best to start at 10% of your body weight, so I was aiming for 15-20 lbs. I have some sensory sensitivities where lots of pressure helps when I’m overwhelmed, but I’m actually really happy with this 12lb. version. This suits me well for general use where heavier might have been used on an as-needed basis and not comfortable to keep on the bed every night.It’s really nice as a throw blanket while I’m reading or chilling on the couch. I feel more grounded and anchored in my relaxation, it’s some weird but tangible difference in how I exist under the even weight. I’m less aware of the textures of fabric on my skin, fleece or soft fuzzy blankets are cozy and feel nice but pressure does cozy in a way texture doesn’t and I’m realizing that now. When I’m overwhelmed, I fold the blanket to stack more weight in certain areas, so I don’t miss having a few extra pounds overall.

Super comfortable, I personally love this product a lot. I recommend buying it with a duvet, as it would make the product be easier to wash. Using it with a duvet may be a little difficult at first, but after the first few times you will get the hang of using it with a duvet. For me it takes me about 7 minutes or so to put on the duvet I bought for it and about 3 minutes or so to remove the duvet.Just keep in mind this product does NOT come with a duvet and that you should buy a duvet, otherwise washing it would be quite difficult.

A weighted blanket is more than just weight; it's a good night's sleep. Select a blanket based on your weight and the color that pleases you; I like Teal. Amazingly enough, the blanket does not add any heat which surprised me most; I do not feel too hot. The weight is evenly distributed over your body which feels very comforting. You can still move freely under the blanket. If you have stress, PTSD or a sleeping issue, try a weighted blanket. Slip into bed and just relax.

You should have seen the look on the face of the one who received this blanket. It was precious. This was on her Wish List so she were surprised when she opened it. She immediately snuggled up in it. Since then I see her using often even though it is a weighted blanket. Not only is it on her bed but she snuggles up in it when shes watching movies.
