Humidity is everywhere: in your closets, under your kitchen sink, in your safes, boats, RVs, bathrooms and more. When you have too much humidity, the effects can be more than a nightmare. The E-333 packs a safe and silent punch to get rid of excessive humidity for up to ten years. How It Works The E-333 uses a renewable silica gel technology that works without batteries or power. This renewable solution can be placed in any area up to 333 cubic feet and will silently absorb moisture. As the unit absorbs the humidity there is an indicator window that contains crystals that will change from blue to pink once it has reached its capacity (4-6 oz. ). This should take between two to four weeks but will vary depending on specific conditions. Once the crystals have changed to pink, it is ready to be plugged in for 8 to 10 hours in a well-ventilated area. After 8 to 10 hours the crystals will have changed back to blue and it is ready to be used again. The process can be repeated for up to 10 years! No Messy Spills to Clean or Refills to Buy Even at full capacity, the E-333 will never leak or spill a single drop of liquid. It captures moisture vapor from the air and keeps it contained within the beads until the unit is ready to renew. Since the E-333 is renewable, it will not require any expensive refills. The E-333 has a lifespan of 10 years and is covered by a 5 year .

One pleased customer. Eva-dry E-333 Renewal Mini Dehumidifier does its job
I am thrilled to say that the Eva-dry E-333 Renewable Mini Dehumidifier is one of the few items that arrived to my home on time and unscathed. However, I am even more pleased that they do as advertised.I live in a New York City apartment building where heat can be sporadic and if not sporadic then grueling meaning the humidity in the air can be unbearable for the environment and asthmatics like myself. The latter of which is the primary reason that I sought out a product that would alleviate much of the humidity in the air.I purchased the double-pack to use in a small bedroom. One is enough to work in a bedroom of 8 x 10 size room. The change in the air was noticeable, believe or not, after a mere 20 minutes. So I kept the other boxed up until the seeds of the first changed from orange to a greenish color, at which point, I swapped them. While one was drying out, the other did its job.Definitely purchasing several more in the coming weeks. My breathing and the air in the room has improved dramatically.

DID NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS
Whoever said this lasted for 30 days before needing to be re-charged must live in Arizona. I received these on July 8th and by yesterday morning, the 12th, they needed to be plugged in. One was in my pantry, which doesn't get unusually damp, and the other was under my bathroom sink. Even being under the sink it shouldn't have turned green in 4 days. Especially considering that I had my bathroom redone 3 years ago so the plumbing is fairly new and doesn't leak. Not only don't they last a reasonable amount of time, but they need to be re-charged much longer than 10 hours. After 13 hours they still were not fully charged. I'm very disappointed and don't recommend these at all. Not only are they useless, but so is their warranty and custom service dept. I called to let them know about my experience and they refused to honor their warranty. Beware of these people!

These are great for safes
These are great for safes. I started off using just one per safe and would notice the beads turning dark green ever two weeks or so. I opted to both in the safe at the same time and now last a few weeks. They are are easy to recharge with built in plug and take about 6 hours to recharge. If you are looking to keep your safe dry and the contents from rusting, these are the best thing for it.

UNIT MELTED DURING FIRST 30 MINUTES OF CHARGE
Unit melted after the first charge. Was charging for 30 minutes. Smell smoke, feels very hot. Sent it directly to the garbage.

THESE THINGS WORK GREAT!!!!!
These seem to work great. My older ones, with the crystals that are blue when dry, lost their usability. You can recharge them, but they only last one day. These newer ones, with the orange when dry crystals last much, much longer that the blue ones (including when they were new). I am very happy with these, and I would recommend the 'orange when dry' over the 'blue when dry'. And I would definitely recommend this type of system over those packets, where you have to bake them in the oven. Those are a nuisance, and who really wants to bake a toxic chemical in their oven?

These are passive, don't expect a miracle
We use these in our full-time rv, and they're good as part of our overall humidity-defeating system. They are great for nooks and crannies, like in a cupboard or closet, but our 28 ft 5th wheel needs A LOT of dehumidification. I love that they're reusable, but it does seem like when you plug them in you're just putting the water back into the air? This is fine if you have another more active dehumidifier like we do, but if they're your main jam, this could be an issue. We found that they work best lower to the ground.

Bought a 2-pack...it works...bought 2 more.
I recently bought a new safe and they suggest that you keep desiccant to remove moisture. I'm not buying those or the Damp Rids. I had these before in an old house but never really gave much notice. But I did remember their claims so I initially bought a 2-pack. One for my safe and also one for my inside storage sealed closet that oddly doesn't have an a/c vent. I put paper supplies and pretty much everything extra in there so I placed one unit in there. The beads took 7 days to turn green. So that just knew that the storage area was full of humidity. The one in the safe lasted for well over a month before I had to recharge it. I'm going to put the news ones in my car and also a second on in the storage room. As for any negative experiences, I haven't had any melted outlet plates or anything like that.I just know that if I am going to recharge the beads, I do it at around 6pm and then by morning I unplug, and pop it right back. No fuss, no muss.

Make sure they work before the return window closes!
I’ve purchased and successfully used other brands of this type of dehumidifier in the past. I ordered the 2 pack of AE-333 units with the larger oval shaped indicator windows thinking that would give a better idea of when it needs to be plugged in. However, after a few weeks of checking, it became obvious there was a problem. The windows always showed the light yellow color indicating the unit was dry; never showing the dark blue that would indicate recharging (drying out) was needed. This was true for both units. I even deliberately put them in high humidity areas to further test them. No change. Of course by this time the return period had closed, so I’m stuck with two useless dehumidifiers.Hopefully others aren’t having the same experience.

Does not do what it promises
I know, it was foolish to think these small boxes with jelly beans would do a work of 2+ltr dehumidifier, but these most definitely will not.I've had a number of proper dehumidifiers in the past and this does not even make a dent in a 0.6x1.2m space humidity and stays orange (meaning dry) even with 80+ humidity in the air for several days. A normal DH would have extracted a few litres in this period of time while this thing struggles to hydrate 300g of beans in two days.

Best thing I ever spent money on.
I have owned an Eva dry unit for years as renters, with bathrooms that don't have proper ventilation or fan, this helps keep the moisture build up down, getting one for my car because during the fall and winter always have issues with moisture and even ice on the inside of the windshield. The second is for the laundry room to ensure moisture doesn't build up. Again, as renters, we have no say in much of how things are laid out, so these help with keeping mold and mildew at bay in small spaces.

Great compact units
This is a great invention as do not need power for it to work and it comes with a hanger for each and you plug in only when it needs to dry out and recharge. Comes with a 5 year warranty and only negative was that I received one that was needing to be dried out as the beads were green whereas the other one was dry and the beads were orangey brown. Also Amazon is obligated to charge 11.50 Canadian for environmental disposal for B C so we were surprised by the end bill and would suggest note on front page of advertising so you are aware.

Colour change is easy to ready and they work very well
Bought for keeping moisture out of our trailer. Colour change is easy to ready and they work very well. Still some condensation on the indows on colder morning but definately takes the damp out of the air.
