JinvooSmart Wi-Fi Plug Smart Water Valve, Smart Watering Device, 2.4GHz Remote Control

The delivery came sooner than advertised, which was a good start! I bought this valve to see if I could control the heating zone from our old oil boiler system which has a number of manual valves to isolate different zones. I have a Netatmo heating system which controls the boiler, but the idea of buying additional Netatmo separate valves for each radiator seemed excessive and I've read mixed reports on how reliable they are. So I took a chance at trying this Jinvoo Valve. It took a while to get through the instructions and get it connected to my WiFi router but once it did, it seems to operate reliably. However, the installation was a bit fiddly and the actuator mechanism seemed flimsy - as initially when I actuated it on the valve, the unit twisted and turned and didn't really operate the valve fully. So I have to get a larger bolt to allow the clamp to sit over the 3/4" compression connector on the manual valve - it is important to have the centre of the rotor aligned with the pivot point of the valve handle, which is not explained in the instructions. Once I did this and secured the clamp properly centered and tight on the valve, it worked flawlessly. It also works well with Alexa.
