Jergens All Purpose Face Cream, Deep Cleansing Facial Cream, Makes Skin Smooth and Vibrant, 15 Ounce (Pack of 2)

30 years ago, I met a woman who was probably mid-60's and had the most beautiful skin I'd ever seen. While a lot of how we age is our genes, and sun exposure, etc., there are products that are most helpful for beautiful, smooth skin. I had, by that time, (in my late 20's/early 30's) spent a lot on products. She told me she used Jergens Cold Creme (now called face cream). So I got some, and 30 years later, I am constantly being complimented on or asked what I use on my skin. I SLATHER it on at night after I wash my face (and have gone from expensive cleansers to Dove soap when a dermatologist said it was the best thing to use -- some use this for removing makeup, I don't as I don't feel clean enough, but as a moisturizer....WOW!). For day, during the summer I use a lighter day moisturizer with sun screen, in the winter I use a very thin layer of this and my makeup has a sun screen. All I can say is that I'm tickled how my skin looks, and constantly get compliments. MAYBE it would have happened anyway, and I just saved myself a lot of money. But maybe it is part of the "secret" and I spent very little on fabulous results and wouldn't trust my skin, or take a chance, on anything else. I used to work for a major cosmetic firm that is high end, so I understand what is out there from a consumer and retailer point of view

I love this cream!!!! Great for facial cleaning, but I use it with my lotion to provide a moisturized face all day long. I don't wear makeup so my face can look a little uneven toned... So when I dress for the morning, I use half cream and half lotion (dove) in the palm of my hand and mix together... Apply it to my face for an all day moisturizer.... It give my skin a beautiful glow and my skin tone appears even. Someone asked me what kind of foundation I used.... Lol....I told her it was a moisturizer and she said... No really... What kind of foundation is that... LOL...

a very good face cream especially considering the price! for comparison sake i can tell no difference in feel or results than the Olay  Olay Active Hydrating Cream Original by Olay for Unisex - 2 oz Cream  that i have used for years. though i really like the other you get so much more forgoing the big name brand for a lesser known Jergens but just as good IMHO. so for what its worth i genuinely feel that considering the cost and the quality of the product that it deserves a solid five stars.

Bought because it's a great price and was hoping I would save money over more expensive body butters or Olay facial creams. This is a mineral oil based product and it feels that way...basically imagine you take baby oil (baby oil is mineral oil with added fragrance) and put it on your skin. It sits there...it doesn't soak in well. I think because it is mineral oil based it also blocked my pores and led to acne. Some folks seem to like it based on the other reviews. Basically, try buying a smaller amount at your local convenience store even though the unit price is higher instead of buying two jars here on amazon to save money. I didn't like it.

This stuff takes makeup off so easily! I love Jergens! This is economical and good old fashion creme that works!

I used this for an unconventional purpose. Someone suggested using face cream to coat the bikini areas before waxing. This was cheaper than Pond’s. I tried it and it works! I have less irritation and pain. The only down side is of you use too much it makes the wax goop up and not spread evenly. Also there’s a heavy scent. I’m sensitive to a lot of products and the scent worried me but I haven’t had any issues with it.

I'm almost 68. The most recent people who thought I was 'early 50's' were my nail stylists. On my last visit they were chattering away in their native tongue to each other as usual. I had brought my single, 49-year-old son with me a few visits back, who was a big hit with the girls. One addressed me in English to ask 'how old my son is?' - When I told her, they all burst out saying, "We thought YOU were early 50's!" - I attribute these reactions which I hear routinely to my must-have Jergens All Purpose Face Cream. I order it in bulk. I sleep better when I apply to my feet, legs, arms, face, neck - It's even a good hair conditioner from the traces that get into my hair overnight. I had one friend at work who started buying it because of me, who said, "I wish I had met you sooner - to think of all the money I've spent on expensive face creams and my Jergens works better than all of them!" I could go on & on, but I couldn't do without this stuff. (btw: if used as a makeup base, I've found it's best to dilute with a little spray of water, then blot - AND - I almost forgot - My facial redness cleared up at least 90% overnight when I started using my Jergens!) (Also, as with any lotion or cream, if you keep the lid on between uses, it won't dry out - and even if it does thicken, which can happen, a teaspoon of water mixed into jar instantly fixes that.) (Last: the small 6 oz. size being smaller is perfect for travel as well as the pink lid quickly identifies what it is among all the other mysterious little grooming containers.)

All purpose cream is a delight to use all over body and face....I've used for several years...

Nice and moisturizing but over time u notice less of a difference if you use it all the time
