The product stated that it will yield five bottles of wine, I barely got four bottles after racking off the sediments twice. I figured the price per bottle was about $8, kind of steep for home made wine. I had previously made a Winexpert six gallon kit that made 27 bottles but it was a lot of work cleaning the bottles and handling a six gallon glass carboy so I made and am in the process of making three - one gallon kits. I wish Winexpert would offer a three gallon kit, that seems like the sweet spot...not too little, not too much - but if you want to get your winemaking feet wet (no pun intended) with little investment, then the one gallon kits fit a need.
