Does the trick
Thoroughly enjoying this putting green in the warmer weather. Perfect for practicing putting and chipping. It's been used on grass, pavement and hardwood. It serves its purpose and looks like it will hold up nicely.

Sound Design but improvements possible
I like the Mat and use it 5 times per week. Lately I am using the elevating pads under the Mat to change the putting contours. I live in the NE and I can at least work on this aspect of my game when it's too cold outside. There are some improvements I would make. Suggest getting rid of the mid cup since I can practice 2 foot putts on either of the other holes. Also reduce the fringe to no more than 3 inch width to the perimeter edges of Mat. For serious Golfers I'd recommend the larger Mat if you have the room for it. I have mine on a finished floor of my 2 car heated garage and due to space limits I chose not to get the larger Mat: some regrets about that decision since you can make better use of the contouring pads with the larger Mat. I don't recommend anyone rolling it up after use because its takes 2 days for it to flatten out for use.

Slick look but slower than expected
I bought this as an alternative to the popular birdie ball putting mat. You can see the birdie ball on the right and the Boburn mat on the left with my cat on it. The best thing about the mat is the appearance. It looks very professional and a nice finishing touch to my golf simulator room. It appears very durable and something I could see holding up well outside. The disappointing thing about it is the speed of the mat. Its a little slow. If you want a stimp rating id probably guestimate its about a 6.5 to 7. I also thought since its thicker I could just put it over carpet but I would recommend putting it on hard flooring or plywood.Also, to the creators of the advertisement page pictures of the product....I literally did not buy this product for the longest time due to your cheesy photos. You have a photo shopped golfer with a driver addressing a golf ball on a PUTTING mat and they are even addressing it the wrong way. Just incredibly lazy marketing.
