Why did you pick this product vs others?:I LOVE these Olympina vests--lots of roomy pockets with good, sturdy zippers. As a short, elderly woman, I use these vests instead of a pocketbook because the weight can be distributed evenly among the pockets (which is good for posture), my things are organized, and the vest poses less of a threat of my being robbed because it can't be ripped off of my shoulder as easily as a shoulder bag or pocketbook could be. I love these vests also for travel because I can add about 10 pounds of stuff that would otherwise have to go in a carry-on that has to be weighed. These vests are well made and well designed., and they are washable, but I would wash them separately because the colors bleed. A friend introduced them to me a few years ago and now I can't live without them. They are sized small, so I'd advise others to get them at least 2 sizes larger than what they'd normally order. I've re-ordered these several times and I'm sure I'll do so again when my current ones wear out (and that takes a while even though I use them daily).

I like this vest. For the price it is a serviceable vest that should last at least a season or two. Yes the "D" rings and the zippers are plastic, but if you want a vest with metal hardware you'll have to pay 3 or 4 times as much, and such things are fairly easy to replace if necessary. It's lightweight and comfortable. I bought a XXX - large, a size up from my usual, so I can wear it over a few layers if it's cold. Over just a shirt it's light and air circulates freely. There are so many pockets, I don't think I've found them all yet.

Very nice and fits to size, a few too many zippers but you can cut those out if you want them open. The vest main zipper is set up like a female garmet with the male insert pin on the right and slider/pull tab on the left. So you pull up with your left hand, really it is no big deal. Overall made well.

Very high quality vest! Better than I expected. Sturdy pockets and very nice zippers. If it holds up I will be thrilled. I bought it due to arthritis in my hands and I need to carry phone,pills,pocket knife etc and all of the pockets are a real plus. Thank you very much!

I like the fact that this has a lot of pockets. It is well enough made in general. I would prefer if it were a little longer. As others have mentioned it does have the zipper on the wrong side. That however is not a problem with mine since the zipper fell off (slider and pull tab) within a month.

Great vest, size was good

Bought it for light travel. Roomy pockets for maps, guides, sandwiches. Phone nets nicelt in it. But zipper pull is located on the side opposite from where it is on all my other jackets, coars, sweaters. I would say it is on the woman's clothing side. Probably fine for left handed, but engaging the zipper feels awkward and often sticks because it is at an awkward angle for me. Tried it several trips then finally discarded it. Am more cautious not to buy these products. Labeled for men and in large sizes i have rejected sweatshirts and other clothing I liked and would have bought but for this odd feature.

This is a very nice vest but a little heavy for the warmer months. The zipper is backwards for a US male but it is easy to get used to especially if you have other internationally made articles of clothing that also have the same reversed zipper. It has lots of pockets, both inside and out. For the price, it is a very good value.
